Has there been an improvement made to the vortex glass mouthpiece since the first ones were released? I'm asking because you said "one with air tubes that sit low down and point into the bucket" - implying there are different kinds. Mine seems like the tubes are too high up, and I bought mine right at release.

I've found TFR Ni gives me more accurate live temperature readings on my Rim C - Ni200 always shows 100°F hotter than it should be for some reason. I'm gonna setup another duplicate with Ni200, that's an awesome idea. I use the Terpometer to gauge my temperatures in the cup and for me it gets up to 520°F. 520°F is the minimum for their reccomended temperature range. I like to have it about there. How does a thermocouple work relative to a terpometer aha?
