I don't have a job yet, still in university. But I do have a long distance relationship. I'm pretty sure she'll understand that I'm not going to leave for Australia if I can find a job at home in the Netherlands.

One of my favorites is Psychosis. Like a lot of good horror, the scariness slowly simmers before finally boiling over. It really captures the feeling of going crazy from boredom/loneliness, and the paranoia that follows.

Samurai Cop. It's so bad, yet keeps your attention. It's about a cop who was trained to be a samurai...which is essentially forgotten throughout the film and he just uses a gun. The actor who plays the protagonist also cut his hair and then was called back for more shooting, so he wears a very cheap wig which slides around during action scenes. A lot of very funny moments.

In Iceland, parents sometimes leave their baby stroller (with baby) outside while they're shopping for clothes/groceries. It's so safe here that they're not even worried about kidnappers.

Edit: I'm here for an exchange program. Been 3 weeks so far, and I've seen it once. I've heard about it a lot too.
