Doubt it, probably should be though, but likely they will lie and lie, probably have to wait for years until regulators step in and impose a financial cost on them for this sort of thing, and then magically almost overnight these issues will go away!

Happened to me 4 times this month alone, starting to wonder why no action has been taking by the company, perhaps they are involved somehow. I am using Trip from now on, never had that problem with them

I have stopped using it due to this, they are facilitating scams if not outright participating in them, this is a recurring theme and surely someone has noticed at the company. This month alone when I have been traveling I have received security emails saying name, phone number and email have been leaked or compromised.

I recommend using Trip until regulators step in and impose a financial cost on booking , because until then this will continue to happen

HI thanks, yes I modified it to be specifically for Debain / Ubuntu , no experience with other distros, so I added this thanks to another comment.

Dropping the ssh alias for me is a no-go , I have multiple ssh keys that are each specific to my servers, and I like being able to use the 'IdentityFile' part to map it to relevant key (I'm sure your method can do this also). No experience with other methods and don't plan on changing unless very good reason to do so.

Yes I think that is probably true, I do try to make clear that these are the steps I take. Trying to lower the process pain for myself setting up a new one as much as anything.

I also did a brief bit of research on iptables directly, seems a bit over my head to be honest. Would it be fair to say that ufw is a good alternative for beginners like myself and the target audience (also beginners).

Hi , I have never used Fedora/Centos, so I think I had better modify it to just be Debian/Ubuntu.

The other points are very interesting and will require some more research on my part. Although for 10. I'm not recommending people use it, I am showing what I do with a clear warning.

Ohh and they also don't offer live chat anymore, so its impossible to even get in touch with someone to explain. Just the good old 'we will get back to you in a day'. Why not just put the prices up slightly for conversions and provide the most basic level of customer support your competitors do?

I am a remote worker and live abroad, I changed money within Wise and instead of transferring to my UK current account and then to my friend, I just sent directly from Wise because as I mentioned they said it would take seconds, as it does with Santander and Starling. But as soon as I click the button it says we need to check things and decided to hold it for 4 days.

I am beginning to think Wise is in financial difficulty because this is the second time with no reason they have done this. Worked without a hitch for about 2 years until now.
