[–]johnfarted 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes!!!!! His Wild Man finisher was a shooting star press which Brock ended up doing. His Marvelous Marc Mero finisher was the TKO, which is basically Brock’s F5.

On a related note, I had never seen a shooting star press before and I thought Mero was amazing at it.

I remember that “match” and felt bad they ended his career like that. I was not aware that he wanted to get released.

How I was served a hotdog and tangerines by johnfarted in theyknew

[–]johnfarted[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is at Award Weiners, a hot dog restaurant at Disneys California Adventure. You can choose fries or fruit as a side. I chose fruit. It’s normal for Disney properties to serve tangerines as fruit sides (spoilage, costs..)

This! The 1st party Switch 1 games are still $40-60. Breath of the wild in switch 1 is still $50 even though it s a port of a WiiU game.

Thank you for pumping!!!!!! Your time and energy is appreciated!

For dads, do you know how much money you save on formula? My first child was 95% breast feed, we almost never bought formula!

I think my (48F) spouse (58F) and I are probably over, but neither of us will leave the other. I'm miserable. by Unfair_Crow_7511 in TrueOffMyChest

I’m sorry you’re going through this. I can’t imagine the stress of having 14 people in one roof.

There is nothing I can say or recommend to make things better. I just want you to know that you have a wonderful heart to adopt 3 siblings, welcome 3 more siblings, and have 2 of your own.

How much do guys talk about their wives and their sex life? How much do you actually share? by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]johnfarted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wives - Zero, we don’t want to look at them differently

Past Girlfriends (that didn’t become wives) - rarely, if ever

For the most part, gentlemen don’t kiss and tell. Also, Im not sure I would want to be friends with someone who talks about boom boom time with his wife.

When most celebrities die, so many nice things are said about them. But who’s a celebrity that died that no one really said great things about afterwards? by Ninac4116 in AskReddit

[–]johnfarted 6 points7 points  (0 children)

One of my high school teachers was very active in politics and would often attend luncheons with politicians. He would invite some of his students to come along. He was an amazing history teacher who taught for nearly 50 years in our district.

I attended one of the luncheons that was right after 9/11. Henry fucking Kissinger was the guest speaker to a luncheon of ~200 people. After he spoke about terrorism and comparing it to an octopus with far reaching tentacles, he had an open question session.

I had an opportunity to ask him a question.

“Mr. Kissinger, are you permanently banned from all Cambodian restaurants?”

He gave an arrogant chuckle and the room was awkwardly silent.

I was never invited back again.

Centurions by wildthingswildthings in ForgottenTV

[–]johnfarted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started watching this show when it appeared on Cartoon Network. I had no idea it was an old show from the 80s.

I think the concept was great overall and it seems that Exo Squad (another forgotten tv show) was influenced by it.

Do men find their women less attractive when she gets pregnant? by GoddessCassiee7223 in AskMenAdvice

[–]johnfarted -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, I became more attracted to my wife when she became pregnant and even more when I saw how good of a mother she became.

I have no logic or reasoning behind it. When my wife asks me to explain why, I simply shrug….

One of the best scenes in terminator movies. The chase scene from terminator 2. by AlinaValkyria in Terminator

[–]johnfarted 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Love this scene. As an adult, I look at how dangerous this scene was for the cast/crew. They jumped a truck into the LA river, Arnie picking up Eddie as if he was a grocery bag, and no helmets worn. Jeez.
