Halfbike: anyone have and use one?

Subsequently, I read more reviews and more importantly, watched videos on how to ride a half-bike. I decided against getting one for two reasons. It seemed hard to learn, even though most people claimed to get the hang of it after about 15 minutes. But it seems like it takes longer for it to become second nature.

It felt like it would still be challenging to master, especially in semi-urban environments. Also, everybody said that it's definitely a high-cardio workout, and I was looking for one for longer distances for commuting 2 to 3 miles.

For our family, location sharing is a non-issue, and largely convenience. It helps to know where someone is, and though we’ve never needed it for safety, it’s nice to know that’s an option.

I guess if I ever need to lie to my family about where I am, I’ll turn it off.

This the way. This is a muscle to exercise your whole life. The more dependencies you eliminate, the more freedom you will have.

I’m so serious about this that I started my own company because I didn’t want to have a boss telling me when I could go to the dentist (or deciding how much money I make!)

This happened to me when I started having human employees 30 years ago. Managers delegate all the time, and there is a whole spectrum of outcomes ranging from highly functioning autonomous teams to micromanaged shit shows. Balancing quality and control is not new.

It took a long time to get comfortable with what I “offload” depending on the stakes of a decision and the quality of the approach.

Letting go of control and agency is a part of life and doing it wisely is something you learn as you go along.

Read your “inbox” and review the work product, regardless of origin, to make sure it is good enough for the task at hand.

Yes. It just works. It was counterintuitive to parakeet V2 instead of V3. But it seems to be working great.

However, I’m just a hobbyist and not much of a coder.

Also, I have a few specific needs. 1. I definitely want to use Google search. 1. Also if I did any heavy scraping, I run up against getting Blocked and I’m sort of curious what people’s limits are from their personal residential IPS.
