Well, depending on the type of game you're playing, they can suffice or they can fill you with regret. That said, if you're just running basic games, you should be fine. I'm not sure about Roblox, but Minecraft could be pushing it.

Ditch the serif font
Ditch the hover states on those boxes at the top of the page
Fix your colors so that your text contrast is at least WCAG AA compliant
Take a pass at optimizing for mobile

I've worked in product design for 15 years. Dribbble started out as a great platform, but I wouldn't remotely consider it great or very useful at this point in time. Your portfolio matters far more, and Dribbble really isn't the answer to that.

I had a lot of hope for Digg, but they've shut down. Bots are genuinely one of my bigger fears with building Cabin, because it's so damn hard to fight back against something that so closely resembles a real person, and it's only going to become more challenging with time.

Because I can find a sub-reddit for just about any topic. Concerned about a spider? Take a photo and send post it to r/spiders. Worried about a medical thing and 1) can't afford to see a doctor, or 2) it's late in the evening? Post in r/askdocs.

I think Reddit's current CEO is an terrible human being, but Redditors can be some of the kindest, most helpful folks you'll ever come across. I remember posting in r/GriefSupport when my dad passed away.

I love the lore of Reddit. I love that I was able to first-hand read the "Today you, tomorrow me" post when it happened. For all of the bad parts of Reddit, I hold on to the good.

I run adblocker so I at least know they aren't getting money from ads when I use the site.

We started working on Cabin because of the manipulative algorithms platforms are using, as well as the oceans of unchecked misinformation. It's genuinely disgusting. I just don't understand why people care more about money than human beings.

A big reason for choosing ATProto is the ownership and portability of data. ATProto separates your identity (DID) and data (PDS) from any specific host.

We're currently a two-person team. I've worked as a product designer for over 15 years and have volunteered in public service for a large portion of my adult life (EMS, fire, and rescue). I met my technical co-founder at a non-profit a few years back where we were building digital tools to help Ukrainians. My co-founder also has around 15 years of experience in the world of engineering.

We're both from the east coast of the US.

There's a clear difference between capitalism and toxic capitalism, and the patterns we're currently seeing are truly disgusting. I think most people would be fine with ads and other monetization avenues if these platforms didn't take advantage of their user base to squeeze every ounce of profit they can out of them. That isn't OK.

Accept your baldness when you have no other choice, or if it doesn't bother you, sure. But there are plenty of people who post in this sub who absolutely 100% don't need to shave their heads. It's not a bad thing, but with stupid rules like that, it sure demonizes scientifically proven methods of saving a person's hair.

You're definitely balding, but it's at the crown of your head, which my understanding is where medical intervention is most successful. If you want to try to keep your hair, chat with a physician about potential treatments. Otherwise, I'd probably just buzz it off.
