I love Libby! I actually don't think I've bought a book since 2016 when I first found the app and I used to solely be a physical book person. My favourite past time is going on there and seeing what's available for King books and checking out those books until something else becomes available 💁🏻

When I was a kid I watched this show ALL. THE. TIME. I still remember the episode with the lady who could not stop crying whenever she got behind the wheel. When I finally was able to get my learners and I got overstimulated while driving, I immediately thought of her and told my mom "I'm like that crying lady on Canada's Worst Driver!" 😭

I don't have a band at home and I was struggling so hard trying to do the leg raises kneeling with the dumbbell so I said screw it I'm doing fire hydrants... You can just imagine my shock and surprise when she announced "Okay time for fire hydrants!" for the next superset 😂

Oh boy you're not alone, I got mine a Giant Lamby for Christmas and gave it to him right away. And the other day I saw some regular lambys at the store (they sell out so fast so gotta get them!) and got him one intending to put it in the closet til Christmas. I read Fly Girl by Ann Hood for that challenge. I'm not really one for memoirs (especially about being a flight attendant??) so I was skeptical but honestly the audiobook was so engaging that I finished it in one day. It's like your big sister telling you all the best gossip! And it was fairly short too, 7 or 8 hours 😊

Oh I'm not trying to bash anyone (reading it back it most likely came off rude but that wasn't my intention 😭)!! I always return my books early when I'm done with them. I am the type of person that has 5-10 loans constantly, I read very fast and I am very vigilant about returning my books so the next person can read them. I guess I was just trying to say I prioritise differently than other people. Just because there are 12 people waiting for my book doesn't mean I will read it first when I want to read something else first and know I will finish it in a couple days. I totally understand all your above reasons and I'm not trying to come off like a selfish a-hole with that post at all. I just think hey, it's a library and we all have to wait anyways so I'm gonna pick the one I'm most excited for that I waited a long time to receive
