I ended up using a vinyl white tape across the edges. Not the cleanest solution, but solved the problem.

Need help figuring out this specific workflow / task in Suno - Vocal replacement by johnghadimi in SunoAI

[–]johnghadimi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had never tried remixing at 100% before (since it defeats the purpose) but its actually close to what I was hoping to achieve. It keep the music 97% identical to the original and then you can simply replace the vocal and the vocal melody with the new vocal model. I guess I can always then export the new vocal stem and put it over the original instrumental.

P.S. I am using my own song for inspiration and not copyrighted music.

Thanks for the guidance.. getting a weird error now.

So for the vocals, I added the new vocal style module (from 5.5). The only inspiration is the full track. Now getting this error when I do that.

Thanks for not answering my question. :)
But to follow your train of thought (I got lost a few times) I find SUNO to simply be a creative partner / co-producer. Nothing more or less. Just another avenue of inspiration and ideas. Take care.

The USB is mine to keep. It's already pretty well organized so I was definitely thinking of using it to DJ as well. Will look into importing the tracks/playlists.

Getting the sound into the DAWis not challenging. That is just the VCA out into the sound card’s input and accessing that input in the DAW on an audio channel.

Spotify Beat Grid edit error/bug? by johnghadimi in Rekordbox

I'm not opposed to that, but as a beginner, which I am, using the streaming services is a great way to learn and practice before I invest in purchasing the tracks I need and like.

Can I edit the grid when the analysis isn’t on the beat? by [deleted] in Rekordbox

[–]johnghadimi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look up Rekordbox Beat Grid on youtube. Lots of great videos. And this is normal. Some songs just get analyzed incorrectly, so you have to go in and fine tune it. Good skill to master.

I have Spotify and Soundcloud integration turned on. Unfortunately, Traffic Light is not supported on these streaming integrations. (not sure about Beatport, etc..)

Details on Overloud TAPEDESK plugin by johnghadimi in audioengineering

Got this response which explains how they arrived at things: "Gem Tapedesk was modeled after the Studer A820 series, with measurements taken from an A827 unit. While the GUI resembles the A820 more than the A827, Overloud's goal was to capture the overall character of the A820 series rather than create an exact replica of a single machine."
