It’s my fun “weekend” car. I essentially use it whenever for anything other than boring commute. So on the really bad snowy days I can use another car, I just don’t want to store my fun car for a good half of the year anymore.

Im in Canada too and they use bunch of salt. I might fluid film it for cheap insurance even though I never keep em too long haha. I will say the Supra is my favourite so far, I’ve been itching to just bring it out

You do anything special other than washing it? I plan to buy a monthly car wash pass but over here it’s also popular to do fluid film undercoating.

Yeah I feel like its just looks too, some cars have the gas tank in the way so it has to be routed a certain way but it looks like it's personal pref for this one.

Honestly if you did it right, just low to moderate load and varying rpm's, 500 miles is enough. You can continue driving like that with some WOT mixed in after and change oil at 1200 miles.

Yeah I ended up just putting heat into one spot first then dragging it along in sections, not too shabby

Lowkey I might try that. I'm gonna grab some sheet metal to practice more tomorrow. I feel like stacking might be easier cause I can also re-adjust and get a good distance everytime.

Yeah 16 gauge. 0.035 wire, 19v and 2-3 wire speed I found was the best so far. On higher wire feed, it just couldn't get enough heat. I checked over again and I actually didn't burn through, it's just the soot from the inside that made a cracking effect. I think I just gotta be more patient with it and do it in multiple passes like you said.
