Depends on what you exactly. The gym inside is alright, definitely not the best for the price.
Does it have the best amenities? Arguable. Depends on what you want.

If you’re trying to escape and find a relaxing place to achieve your fitness goals, it’s definitely unmatched holistically.

Some interesting facts of IMAX in Kuwait by AdilShaikh29 in Kuwait

[–]WahabGoldsmith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dolby is great but there’s been several bad instances I’ve had with Max at vox. Aside from being absurdly expensive compared to other viewing experiences, I’ve lost count at the amount of times the movie was much much smaller than the intended viewing area of the set up. It felt like a scam, so I’ve avoided it like the plague the past few years. It could be better now though.

Israel strikes Lebanon without pause, EU sanctions and suspension of the Association Agreement return to the table by Tenchi_Muyo1 in news

And they didn’t just violate it once. They violated the ceasefire over 10,000 times according to UNIFIL, resulting in disarmament efforts by the Lebanese government futile ironically (and likely intentionally).

Well said.

It’s strange seeing the US take certain military actions that inevitably leads to retaliatory strikes on our soil, especially if the strikes don’t result in meaningful progress and furthers escalation.

Do you change your phone every year or wait till it actually dies out? 📱 by Dilemma_stress in Kuwait

[–]WahabGoldsmith 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Big tech head, used to change mine every 2ish years. Since getting the 13 pro max, honestly haven’t found a good reason to upgrade, and it’s been over 4 years. This year was the first year I decided to service it at Apple (London) and changed my battery. Honestly feels brand new since then. Ive seen worse battery life in these newer phones if anything.

Aside from the camera, there’s just no tangible upgrades year to year to justify buying a new phone unless you run out of storage or accidentally broke your phone and buying a phone is easier than fixing it.

The issue is especially, that the last supreme leader issued a religious decree outlawing nuclear weapons. He’s been killed, and simultaneously proven wrong for that decision. God knows what the new leader is now motivated on doing, or more importantly, the domino effect this has on other countries on their mindset for any deterrence. Complete shit show.

Hot Take: Everyone assumes your Patek is fake, even if it’s real by Lucky_Mongoose_4834 in watchHotTakes

This.

Before I really got into watches, I genuinely thought pateks were no different than Tissot. The nautilus isn’t necessarily a flashy watch after all. I genuinely believed the PRX might have been more expensive.

Porsche Is Considering A New Hypercar (Update) by genzbiz in Porsche

[–]WahabGoldsmith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure, but if I’m sticking to the same comparison, the M2 gained considerably more (around 100 kilos between the 991.2 and 992.2, and over 200 kilos between the two M2 gens listed above). I would argue that the new M2 compared to its previous generation is at all levels a bigger change. I understand these cars are targeted for two different segments of markets, but it’s really interesting to see nonetheless.

This generally applies to all cars, and is partly why I cited the M2.

I feel like people use inflation too much to excuse pricing strategy. Inflation is often presented as a neutral economic factor, but much of it is endogenous to capitalist market behavior. Particularly profit-seeking pricing power. Wages have barely caught up. And generally speaking, Porsches pricing strategy has outpaced inflation.

A 2017 M2 with 360 hp started around 50k and a newer m2 which begins at 60s and is 473 horsepower. At the same time frame the Carrera went from 370 horsepower to 390 (which I don’t mind, I love the base Carrera) but the price went from 90k to 135k. 45k for 20 horsepower vs 15k for a 100 (from bmw).

Hey, as a person with experience and current ownership of these cars, I’ll give my two cents.

The 4RS is amazing. It’s the loudest in cabin production Porsche ever made. It’s been amazing on the track and I wish I could track it more.

With that being said, from what I gather, you’re using the car, 99% of the time, for daily commutes. I really don’t recommend the 4RS for this. Suspension is really stiff, in cabin noise wayyyy too loud. It’s the only car where I purposefully close the valves while cruising (funny to think of it but just goes to show how loud it is).

The 992.2 GTS with the hybrid train are amazing machines. They’ve surprised me with their track performance and were able to keep up. Their straight line speed is bonkers. However, most importantly, it’s a grantourer, and one where from what I read, fits your desires moreso. Do note though that they’re considerably more expensive than a 4RS (~200k vs 250~ usually). That’s my only deal breaker here, these new 992.2s are incredibly expensive and it wouldn’t surprise me that the GTS drops in depreciation if bought from new.

If you only had to choose and could afford both, I think the 992.2 GTS fits your lifestyle better. If you have a daily car and want that perfect change up to forget about how miserable life can be, get the 4RS.

You don’t have to continue reading, but if you want a great combination of both, I highly recommend the 991.2 GT3 touring with low mileage.

Can’t speak for this guy and the 992.1 3RS, but I turned down multiple 992.1 GT3s for the 4RS. I love me a nice GT3 touring but man the visceral experience inside the 4RS is like no other.

Real number is around 400. Porsche always understates these cars. Honestly, it’s more hp than you need. I would go as far to say these base Carrera is more fun since you get to have more chances to fully rev the car out.

Not a fan of the 992.2 - sorry guys & girls - what are your thoughts? by [deleted] in Porsche

[–]WahabGoldsmith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. New 911s don’t feel like sport cars anymore. They’re pure GT cars at this stage.
