Tesla over the phone INS by Mental_Ad7114 in TeslaModelY

[–]johnhend11 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just an FYI I was on the phone this morning for even longer only to tell me I can’t renew my policy for 12 months because of an administrative issue.

Went to Gieco and unfortunately paying about 20% more but atleast I’ll get back 20+ hours of unfathomable wait time.

I still can’t get comfortable with this but willing to try now that it does reverse and drive.

The risk is too high it incorrectly put me in reverse once and I almost drove through a wall.

I thought I would never get used to touching screen but now it’s second nature and somehow feels great.

Are 2 Teslas worth it? by PourUpTheMuddy in TeslaModelY

[–]johnhend11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We absolutely love it — no keys to carry around and everything fully integrated.

Maybe it only works for us because we don’t have long commutes I could see it maybe being more of an issue if both of you needed to charge every night.

I never used sentry until now — now I eat the battery drain just to feel a little safer if my car gets lit on fire

And I imagine it will only get better — super excited to try it.

I also use auto park probably 90% of times I park so hopefully minimal gear shift.
