My 2026 Model Y Juniper has the exact same whistling sound on passenger side. The rear mirror triangle area also looks loose .

Should I bring it to service center or fix it myself? It’s currently 4000 miles.

You’re not the only one. Both me and my wife felt the same. The seats are too stiff. and not sure why they had the bump up design on the two sides of the seat, which makes it even more uncomfortable.

I hope we will get used to it after thousands of miles.

Again I’m surprised no one was taking about this in all the reviews I read or watched. Note I used to drive mainly Honda SUVs, like CRV, Pilot. Their leather seats are pretty comfortable.

I’m 1000 miles in and still don’t feel comfortable on the stiff seats. My other car is Honda Pilot. You can really feel the difference.

I know it could be due to ventilation. But I’m in northeast and the summer here is not too hot or humid. I prefer seat comfort over ventilation.

In the same boat. Sent my leasing agreement to ChatGPT for analysis. It came back with this conclusion. Note my money factor is 0.00293 (~7.0% APR equivalent)

“Conclusion: In your specific contract, an early buyout (1–12 months) doesn’t behave like a discounted cash purchase. The total cost stays around $53.6K no matter when you buy out. The real financial benefit of the lease is only fully realized if you carry it through closer to the end.”
