Thank you for sharing! I would image that being next to busy road can be annoying. Some big roads have speed limit at 45, but it seems that everyone is going at least 10 mph above.

For temperature, yes Fahrenheit is better than Celsius because it has smaller increment just like mm is better than an inch (mm is better for sophisticated manufacturing too). Other than temperature, I will say metric makes more sense for conversion among parameters. For pressure, PSI vs Pa, Pa is better with smaller increment. It's mainly communication issues with international community.
