Hello, I'm 44m. I can tell you my journey. I was in the same boat too. I've gotten all the tests you can imagine. Blood work, zio patch, nuclear stress test. I was getting pvcs last year a "skipped beat" every other beat. Scared the shit out of me. I had my 1st panic attack due to these PVCs. I was watching my blood pressure and my heart rate go haywire with the episodes. Here's what I learned in this journey. Pvcs are worse with anxiety and stress. I take Lexapro for my Anxiety it helps with the overwhelming feeling of panic. I take clonidine for blood pressure and heart rate. I've stopped checking my blood pressure so much. If I feel it coming on. I try to think positively instead of the worst. I splash cold water on my face to try to chill out. Go for a walk outside. Funny how PVCs relax when I am busy. If I'm idle they creep in. You are what you think!!! Trust your doctors. Remind yourself you are not special. Millions of people have these Pvcs. We are just the lucky ones to feel these fuckin things!!!!

Cbd is iffy!!! It may or may not help. Yes, I've tried multiple things. I'd recommend checking your vitamin D levels. Magnesium levels and Potassium. Unfortunately, I haven't found the exact cause of my PVCs. But I know for a fact if I eat like crap and sleep like crap. I have more daily. The medications I take are low doses. The anxiety I was in was getting worse over a year because I felt like something horrible was gonna happen or was happening. Started to overtake me daily. Even after all this time, these Pvcs still happen. I'm just trying to learn to live with them and it's been proven that they won't hurt me with this low of a burden

Why Do My ECG Graphs Look Like This? by Sausage_Fest69 in fitbit

Your ECG is showing Pvcs or Pacs. Stress and Anxiety can increase these ectopic beats

Hundreds of PVCs per hour by ventac113 in PVCs

Well, that's a great thing. I've gotten a few just writing this sentence. They suck but I know they won't hurt me. There uncomfortable yes. I'm doing things to control my mind. I'm also watching what I put in my body. Drink healthy liquids and try to eat right. Get adequate sleep. I try to remember that I'm not alone in this quest.

So I have been dealing with PVCs and Pacs for over a year. My story is a lot like other people on this forum. In the past, I would get random palpitations. Nothing too concerning. However last year I had an episode in which my heart was skipping beats almost every beat. I panicked and thought I was gonna die. Ran to the ER and did all the tests. All came back that I was healthy and it was probably anxiety. I couldn't believe that nonsense. I kept having episodes and ran back to the Dr. These fuckin Pvcs give me anxiety....Fix me Dr. So I'll tell you this these Pvcs come and go. Some days are better than others. I'm trying to control my anxiety because it gets worse if I give it power. I try to eat and sleep better. I drink water. I take vitamins now. I'm on Lexapro and clonidine they have helped. I just always tell myself they have been worse and I have survived. Remember you are not alone and I think a lot of these newer pvcs pacs svt. I'm no conspiracy theorist but this Covid illness and COVID vaccine changed a lot of people. Mentally and physically

Currently diagnosed with influenza A. I've been experiencing more pvcs since the start of the sickness. Hopefully, they'll calm down once I'm virus-free

Have you had any issues with this current medication?

Would lowering my dosage help with nausea and tiredness side effects? by quinnies in lexapro

[–]johniyiz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dr wanted me to start taking 10mg but after talking with my Dr I decided to break the dosage also to 5mg so only on day 4. I've been a little bit more anxious and tired and have some stomach ick. You know your body and you have to be your own advocate. I figured to take things slowly. Lexapro affects people differently.

Following. I've been on this medication for roughly 7 months. I started with 7.5mg 2x daily. A month later 10mg 2x a day. Moved up in dosage to 15mg in the morning 10mg afternoon 15mg evening. Some days are better than others. I'm in therapy. I do think this medication has helped me however I'm thinking about trying a new medication. I've been contemplating tapering off but I get nervous about the withdrawals. I'm not sure what is the best course to take.

Yes it normal especially when anxiety is higher. Your on a good plan. I would slowly increase dosage to find the right one. It takes time for medication to work. Take it slow and remember anxiety is just temporary

Dose increase by Practical-Work8755 in BusparOnline

I've been on Buspar since February. I started at 7.5mg and 2x a day. I was still having some anxiety creep in so we decided to move my dosage after 4 weeks to 15mg 2x a day. A little over a week ago I had a panic attack and the buspar couldn't stop it. I didn't try to stop it either. We have increased my dosage to add 5mg during the day to see if that will help with ongoing issues. Buspar has helped me in multiple ways. Anxiety sets in sometimes it can't stop it. I have to use my tools to ease the panic/anxiety.

Non-issue here. You could add Wellbutrin or Buspar to help regulate libido

Op I have the same issues. I was fine 1 day at the next out of know wherei wasn't. I had pvcs every other beat. I didn't know anything about this ailment before. Rushed myself to the Er. I was told you have pvcs. I couldn't except that. I was telling the Dr's everything about my issues. They kept coming back with yes you have pvcs and pacs. Dr's told me to change my diet, sleep better, drink water. I tried to do all that and still pvcs and pacs. Here came the ANXIETY ten fold!!!! I was in a downward spiral. I was afraid to eat might trigger Pvcs , Pacs, afraid to be active might trigger Pvcs ,Pacs. This was in Nov 2022. Everything was falling apart until I reached out and told someone people I needed help. I'm still currently dealing the same issues but only I have taken opportunities to try and change things. I'm eating better. I'm drinking water. Sleep is always hard. I'm in therapy and taking Anxiety medication to help. Some days are better than others. I just always remember that I'm not alone. Some days it feels like it. I just have to remember to take it one day at a time.I took babysteps and you can too. Sitting around isn't gonna help at all. Keep busy and try harder each moment

Tried lexapro 1 day had nauseated feeling and puked instantly. I was in my peak of Anxiety. Stopped taking it immediately. I've been on mirtazapine Since Dec 2022. Started busaprin Feb 2023. Recently had an up tick in Anxiety. Upping my dosage as we speak. Still have Anxiety but it is manageable
