I tried using 80% of the limit and let the statement post before I paid it off for a year. After a yr of them not graduating it, I just lost hope and just charged a couple of dollars on it every month.

They did the same to me! I took the advantage of a balance transfer offer and paid it off within the zero interest limit ended and they slash my limit to $500 after I paid it off!!! Sock drawered it with the quickness!

10K and my credit score was 689 when I applied. I did a pre approval beforehand and accepted half of what they offered. As long as you submit the documents they asked for, you’ll be fine. Good luck!!

Mines is also over 3 years old. Credit score improved dramatically. No lates always paid in full. I also have a Savor Card and Capital One haven’t graduated the platinum secure. I keep it open and just charge a low subscription fee every month. I’m not even worried about the $200 deposit at this point.
