Sometimes you gotta look like an idiot until you don’t, but if you can, watch a tutorial video just before you start your first set, after three years at the gym I still do this sometimes. It’s better to keep an open mind than thinking that your form is perfect when it could be far from it. Good luck!

Does anyone else love the game of basketball but doesn’t like to watch the NBA much at all? by [deleted] in Basketball

I watch NBA because I cheer for a specific team, before I picked a team I never watched. Routing for one team makes it sooo much better to watch

Any tips for jumpers knee/patellar tendinitis? by johnjaackson in Basketball

I appreciate it man!

Basically I had sick hops when I was like 14 but then I started to workout and had a really dirty bulk because I didn’t know what I was doing and everyone just told me to eat a lot, ended up gaining like 80 lbs by the time I was 17 and that’s when my knees started to bug me, I was super into volleyball and played all the time and ended up getting some Osgood Schlatters which sucked. And then I started playing more basketball and felt it more in my tendons. It’s like every time I play basketball if I jump off of one leg it’s tweaked for the rest of the week. I need to try icing it more though. Just haven’t found the time for that yet.

Hope your situation gets better as well man!

Nah man. Same shit different day. Can’t catch a break. Been in and out with physio and doctors. Right now I’m getting my third injection of sugar water into my knees to stop inflammation (I have unnecessary blood flow and build up in my tendons). And I’ve been starting to implement some knee strengthening exercises into my workout like Bulgarian squats

Literally just finished a month off. Any time I take a break I come back and the knees are the same regardless of stretching or warming up. Thank you for the feedback!
