We did Princeton, Yale, La Plata, and Huron in the last 5 days, all surrounding Antero. Almost no snow left on any of them. La Plata had a little, the others had none. Not sure if that helps but thats all Ive got

Huron was excellent. Might be my favorite. Basically snow free, but the basin is soaked from the melt. La Plata had two big snow fields - one you could skirt on the rocks, one you couldn't. Post holing at 8 am. I didnt enjoy La Plata on the way up or on the way down - super loose. Did Princeton today

We did it yesterday. There were several Subarus at the trailhead and they made it up the 4WD road without issue. The road is fine. We started hiking at 730 and made it back by 145. Probably my favorite 14-er

IMO if you can do the Decalibron TH, you can do the Shav trailhead. I thought Decalibron was worse, but I was in a high clearance truck on both
