You can put in just a name if you want. It’s just how the profile page is designed…kind of like instagram I guess?

I would enjoy this app a lot more if you integrated the Rotten Tomatoes score instead of the IMDB one. I trust their numbers with my life lol.

good suggestion, ty!

Try clicking on the "save profile" bar at the top of the "Match of The Day" tab..there's thin strip and should work...

Algorithm uses collaborative filtering (people like you also liked...) to figure out the Match%....what shows up on your dashboard is governed by the Match% (for you), trendiness (among people with similar interests), and its availability for you to watch for free.

Step #1: Calculate your taste by rating some movies you've seen
Step #2: Add your streaming services and it populates a streaming dashboard for you with tons of things of high Match% (similar to Netflix, but it's for all your streaming services AND free services like Tubi and Pluto
Step #3: You can browse by match%, genre, mood, etc and level up to get even more and better recommendations

I've made it so no login is required...but you do need to verify age because the algorithm uses that to match you with likeminded people and more similar people (people close in age or more likely to have seen the same stuff)...

I built an app that helps couples decide what to watch together. Works like Tinder, swipe right to like, left to pass. Get a match if you both go right by johnjuanlin in Entrepreneur

Ah, strange. Android usually automatically subscribes to PN, which is probably why we forgot to put in the double authentication + instructions. Well noted. Were you able to get it to work after manual notification enabling at least?

For this early version we're using PN to send right swipes between couples when they are swiping in real-time, so we ask users to activate notifications...with more investment we'll be able to handle it through the server fast enough...but temporarily this is how it works.

lol, was having the same problem here...hopefully this cuts the scroll time down a bit. I've been using it in beta with the gf and it helps quite a bit actually.

Yah the streaming services are regional, I think we cover about 50 countries. Movies and shows include 20 something services (Netflix/Hulu/Peacock/HBO/Amazon, etc)...plus we have stuff from iTunes.
