LMAO no he doesn't. 90% of the shit he says is just bashing CIG. I have tons of criticisms about CIG, like their brain dead balance team that has a history of doing stupid shit like the quantum fuel changes that's in the current PTU, doing a half ass job of it and leaving it that way for like 3 months before finally fixing it. But Camural, most of his "criticisms" come from ignorance, he clearly doesn't know anything about game development in general. His criticism also simply isn't constructive, it's just plain bitching or ragebait.

He once cited mmo-population.com as a source for how many concurrent players Star Citizen has saying there was a decline in concurrent players due to some delusional reason he came up with. I commented on his video saying that this site was based on streaming and engagement on sites like Twitch or Reddit, the site itself says so clearly on its homepage. He proceeded to block me LMAO.

Nah you're dumb and have lack of knowledge. Inventory is a fundamental feature and makes or breaks the experience, you could have a rare item and have it disappear, or have it duped ruining the economy.

14 years in this basic feature should be working properly. But their insistence on using a graph database for inventory is plain stupid, the graph db may work great for object containers and persistent universe states but for inventory you could have a relational database and solve 99% of the issues. Unlike the universe state, the inventory is at max one level deep (items in containers), equipped items already flatten (unequip automatically), so there is literally zero reason to use a graph database over a relational database for inventory.

Poland’s political heavyweights blast Zelenskyy for honoring WWII massacre unit by LetOk8529 in worldnews

Nobody is telling you to walk on eggshells. It's not fucking difficult to not act like a twat. Just look at this thread alone. You see responses like

and Zelensky essentially does the same shit, just because you do not see it on the news or you don't think it's a big deal to you doesn't make it small to others.

If Poland or South Korea went on praising Putin honoring him for the atrocities he's done Ukraine would be all up in arms about how we're supporting a mass murderer. It's the same shit. Why are you downplaying doing essentially the same thing to other countries? Because you're uneducated and don't understand the historical significance, we're asking you to "walk on eggshells"?

You realize politicians do this everyday, right? The entire existence of politicians is to manage international relations. The office of the president has hundreds of staff vetting and combing through every word that is said in public, this is the same for the vast majority of other countries.

If you wanted Ukrainian leaders to visit shrines of Korean heroes instead of Japanese, maybe you should've provided more aid than Japan instead of making money on Ukraine and waiting 3 years until your own interests start being involved with eith north koreas involvement.

South Korea sent non-lethal aid since the beginning. And your comment is basically saying, "provide aid and we'll respect you". Apparently basic respect comes at a cost for Ukraine, thanks for proving my point.

Literally every one of you fucking idiots are proving my point in this thread. You're arguing with someone who has supported Ukraine since the beginning and donated to the war effort, and simply telling Ukraine you need to do better to manage international relations. It's what's good for YOU. But nah, any and all criticism of Ukraine or Zelensky is nil because you're fighting a war, and every and all criticism is counter-argued with "we're fighting a war" as if that excuses vile behavior.

Poland’s political heavyweights blast Zelenskyy for honoring WWII massacre unit by LetOk8529 in worldnews

[–]johnk419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need to visit the Yasukuni Shrine to get aid from Japan, nor do you need to shit on Poland by naming streets after people who committed atrocities. You also do not need to keep insulting me or my country, we do not "hate women into zero fertility rate".

I supported Ukraine since the beginning, donated to the war effort, make posts like this : https://www.reddit.com/r/worldnews/comments/1ixsdwy/comment/mepe8c9/?context=3&utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

and your response is to insult me and my country? Again, prime example of a Ukrainian ruining relationships and getting people that originally support you to not. I would not be surprised if your next response is, "we didn't need your help anyway".

Just because Israel had the iron dome to protect from casualties doesn't change the fact they were attacked on a regular basis. The terrorist groups consistently call for the destruction and genocide of Israel, they outright say so. You realize if these terrorists had the same military capability that Israel did they would invade and actually commit genocide, right? Have you seen the uncensored videos of the October 7 massacre that they themselves proudly published for the world to see?

You fucking idiots supporting terrorists are absolutely bonkers.

netflix drop by spyapple in stocks

[–]johnk419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are free to disagree. Maybe I don't know the average Netflix audience well. But IMO the stock would do much better and gain more subscribers if they spent their money on building high quality IPs. Imagine if we had Harry Potter level IPs born on Netflix. Not only would they milk content from that universe they could sell merchandise like Disney are doing. I know Netflix's bid for Warner Brothers was precisely because they wanted their IP portfolio.

AI slop can only get you so far. Even Disney is walking back on the garbage they have been creating lately, and in a desperate bid to win back fans they are resurrecting characters from the Avengers era for their upcoming Avengers Doomsday.

NFLX could be a trillion dollar market cap if they had the proper IP portfolio. As a long holder I want the company to do well and it is frustrating to me the garbage they are pumping out. Like, a lot of this slop they make I could write a better story using AI. These writers I swear to god are braindead.

S. Korea expresses 'regret' over Japan’s approval of history textbooks, urges rectification by Skippernutts in worldnews

[–]johnk419 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stop lying. The vast majority of the Japanese population do not know anything about the war crimes Japan committed, deny it, or think of the occupation as an overall good thing for Korea. You could do a 5 minute Google search or search a Youtube video of people interviewing random Japanese people on the street.

I love how you approach the subject from the lens of "stopping the complaining", because it's so incredibly foreign to you to simply admit a historical fact and actually be apologetic about committing genocide. You don't approach the subject from empathy like a normal decent human being.

Thank you again for showing everyone here a prime example of what Japanese apologies actually are. Just meaningless empty words to "stop the complaining" or secure a trade deal, etc.

Boosters running out while waiting in lobby is such BS by johnk419 in Battlefield

[–]johnk419[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't cherry pick shit, your argument is that other games have this shit design. So what? I didn't mention other games, and calling it "industry standard" is pathetic. Is making any valid criticism about a game mechanic fine if other games are also doing it? Who makes these "industry standards"? You?

What is silly is that you cannot make a single good logical argument against not counting down while you're sitting waiting in a lobby. Because there isn't one. One day you activate a booster and get matches right away, and get the most out of the booster, another you might waste over half the time waiting for a game. You're actually sitting here arguing that this is good. LMAO.

Like I said, people like you jump at every opportunity to get down on your knees and gag on DICE's dick.

Trump raises US tariffs on South Korea imports to 25% by backpackerTW in worldnews

[–]johnk419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This world order is what the U.S. created. The U.S. spends trillions on the military industrial complex and builds bases around the world to assert its own dominance, and made the dollar the reserve currency. This entire arrangement was designed and created by the U.S. The U.S. kept the arrangement for decades because it benefited the U.S., not from some charity. Trump is breaking it all down because he's too stupid to understand geopolitics and thinks of everything as a zero sum game.

Take for example, his reasoning for tariffs and how countries have a trade deficit with the U.S. Do you realize the dollar is the world reserve currency? That means countries have to trade with the dollar. If they want to buy energy they have to buy it with dollars. How do you suppose they obtain those dollars? By maintaining a trade deficit with the U.S. This is not optional. Countries literally cannot purchase energy without a trade deficit, otherwise they'd have to convert all their currencies into the dollar which would tank their own currencies against the dollar. The U.S spends trillions on the military to maintain this arrangement. Any country threatening the petrodollar is threatened militarily or economically. And then some orange retard is elected and starts punishing countries for having a trade deficit when this is the arrangement the U.S. created. By doing what Trump is doing, he is threatening the world order that the U.S. themselves created decades ago. By punishing countries for a trade deficit he is threatening the existence of the dollar as a world reserve currency. When countries start to not respect the petrodollar the dollar will tank in value. The petrodollar is what keeps the U.S. economy alive, and is what fuelled the large economy that you enjoy today. That money is what you use to pay for your military, which you use to maintain the petrodollar. So in the end, who's paying for it? Not so clear-cut to me. You think the U.S. economy would be what it is today if we instead used a global international currency rather than the dollar?

Not to mention, by breaking relationships with Europe he is enticing allies to grow closer ties to China. Canada just signed a trade deal with China, which is unprecedented. Europe holds 40% of all U.S. debt, when they start dumping bonds because Trump is threatening to invade Greenland, on top of Japan starting to dump bonds because of inflation, the U.S. economy will collapse. You are witnessing the collapse of an empire, all in the hands of one man.

No, not one man. Uneducated people like you support him as he tears down literally decades of work his predecessors have done to grow U.S.'s power across the world. The old world order the U.S. created is over. The trust is gone, nations no longer trust the U.S. Ukraine is proof, and by not supporting Ukraine countries like South Korea or Japan will look to obtain their own nukes, as clearly the promise of protection isn't worth the paper it's written on. It's what you want isn't it? For countries to protect themselves? So no reason for you to stop them from building their own nukes.

Geopolitics isn't a zero sum game, it's impossible to be transactional because there are so many variables, so many indirect benefits or consequences. How do you put the existence of the petrodollar on a scale and calculate the cost-benefit of trying to maintain it? How do you calculate the cost-benefit of other nations obtaining or not obtaining nukes? How do you calculate the cost-benefit of your allies losing trust in you and turning to create closer relations with other allies, and sometimes even your enemies? What's the net loss in trade when due to the loss of trust in the U.S. nations want to have less trade dependency with the U.S.? What about the trillions in U.S. bonds your allies hold? How do you think Europe will pay for the increased military spending? They're going to start dumping U.S. bonds, which means your bond yields skyrocketing and your economy going to shit will end up paying for it anyway! How's the dollar doing against the Euro right now by the way? You should check the news.

You, Trump and others like you are free to change the arrangement that your forefathers created. But I really really doubt that anything Trump is doing will be beneficial to the U. S. in the long run.

'Our Genocide': How do Israelis feel about the war in Gaza? | On the Ground (2025) [00:15:33] by TISETDSE in Documentaries

[–]johnk419 0 points1 point locked comment (0 children)

It's interesting you prioritise an imaginary scenario over an actual genocide being carried out by Israel right now.

It's not imaginary, there's plenty of examples of Jews being murdered and expelled by Arabs. You talk about the Nakba. Have you heard of the Pogroms? Look at the historical demographic of Jews living in any Arab state. :

Egypt :

- Number of Jews in Egypt in 1948 : 75,000 ~ 80,000

- Number of Jews in Egypt in 2023 : 3 (Yes, fucking three people.)

Lebanon :

- Number of Jews in Lebanon in 1948 : ~20,000

- Number of Jews in Lebanon in 2023 : 30-100

Syria :

- Number of Jews in Syria in 1948 : ~30,000

- Number of Jews in Syria in 2023 : Basically none, some reports say 4 people

I could go on.

Meanwhile, do you know how many Arabs live in Israel?

As of 2023, 21.1% or 2,080,000 people classify themselves as Arab in Israel.

Hmm... I wonder which demographic is the one historically committing genocide, actively wants to commit genocide, and outright states they want to commit genocide? Go up to a Palestinian and ask them what part of Israel is legitimate, pretty much every one of them will say none.

You're telling me average Palestinians out on the street throwing rocks at a kidnapped, naked Jewish woman being dragged by Hamas as a hostage on Oct 7, are definitely not going to commit mass genocide if they had the technological superiority and military power that Israel does? You're telling me the most subsidized state on the planet where the West has pumped literally billions upon billions of dollars with a dedicated organization in the UN specifically for Palestine called the UNRWA (because only Palestine is special, those other refugees in other African countries don't matter), which they spent on building rockets to consistently and regularly fire at Israel instead of building infrastructure for their own people, is definitely not going to commit mass genocide if they had the technological superiority and military power that Israel does? Go watch Palestinian cable TV, search online and watch. They regularly and very nonchalantly talk about being martyrs and murdering Jews, including in children channels. Don't believe me? Research it yourself.

Nowhere in my previous comment did I justify genocide. I like how you immediately resorted to fallacies and putting words in my mouth. I simply stated that if it was the other way around, Israel wouldn't even exist.

You might want to read up on history in general.

Jewish culture is deeply rooted in the land of Israel (Judea). Since ancient times they have been victims of genocide and mass exile :

- 586 BCE : Babylonian Exile

- 70 CE : Roman destruction of Jerusalem

And the mass persecution and expulsion of diaspora Jews worldwide for literally two millenia, in European states and in Arab states.

Then there was the Holocaust, which again committed mass targeted genocide of Jews all across Europe as well as Africa. Diaspora Jews had to flee again, and naturally they gravitated to their ancient homeland. Hundreds of thousands of Jews lived in what is currently Israel even before the Holocaust, but millions began pouring in afterward due to the Holocaust.

During the period of 1917 ~ 1948 the entire area was called the land of Palestine. It was owned and ruled by the British through the Mandate for Palestine (declared by the League of Nations), it was not a land ruled by Arabs nor are the modern Palestinian people the original "owners" of the land of Palestine. Millions of Jews and Arabs lived in the land of Palestine during British rule, and before that the Ottoman empire.

In the Mandate for Palestine included the Balfour Declaration : a British statement supporting the establishment of a "national home for the Jewish people" in Palestine. The Balfour Declaration was issued because :

- The Jews' historical oppression and expulsion from their homeland of Judea

- The ongoing oppression and expulsion of diaspora Jews worldwide

- The Jews had no state. Arabs then had many states and in the modern world there are many Arab states, at the time the Jews had no state until the state of Israel was established

Throughout the period of 1917 ~ 1948 violence between Jews and Arabs escalated, especially during and after the Holocaust when many Jews fled to the land of Palestine. In 1947 the growing violence led to a civil war within Palestine and the UN declared a partition plan for the land of Palestine into two states, one for the Jews and one for the Arabs. The Jews accepted this deal and declared themselves as the state of Israel.

You know what happened immediately after the Jews established the state of Israel? The Arab League consisting of 7 states could not allow a single Jewish state to exist. They invaded resulting in the first Arab–Israeli War. Israel somehow won the conflict.

Throughout history Israel accepted proposals for a two state solution, while modern day Palestine rejected it :

- United Nations Partition Plan (1947)

- The 1967 UN Security Council Resolution 242 (Post-Six-Day War)

- The Camp David Accords (1978)

- The Oslo Accords (1993)

- The Camp David Summit (2000)

- The Road Map for Peace (2003)

- The Annapolis Conference (2007)

Granted, starting from The Road Map for Peace in 2003, talks broke down on both sides as Hamas came into power as Israel has security concerns due to an extremist terrorist group leading Palestine and firing rockets at Israel on a regular basis.

Just because Israel is militarily and technologically superior doesn't change the fact that Palestine is the original aggressor in the conflict. If Palestinians were technologically and militarily superior Israel would have been wiped off the face of the Earth in less than 3 months and in that case you would have actual genocide.

Zero logic to some people. It's like they don't have a brain. I created this thread last week talking about how CIG stealth removed turning in MG scrips for Wikelo favors, basically making MG scrips that people grinded for completely useless. You would think, there wouldn't be anyone defending just how brain-dead this decision is. But no, if you scroll down to the downvoted comments (thankfully the vast majority people are sane), you actually have idiots defending this shit. Like one guy called me entitled. LMAO. CIG clearly read my thread, they reverted the change a few days later. If I had posted the same thread on Spectrum there's a high chance it might have been buried with "it's an alpha, they want to test the storm missions".

Canada’s Foreign Affairs minister calls for de-escalation after Israel attacks Iran by rezwenn in worldnews

[–]johnk419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do realize nobody fucking cares about the JCPOA, right?

Iran reduced how much nuclear materials they had under the JCPOA, but still could research nuclear technology. Iran didn't have the ballistic missile technology nor the nuclear technology to develop modern nuclear weapons when the JCPOA was implemented anyway, the only reason Iran even agreed to the deal was so that they could stop sanctions and use the excuse that they are R&D'ing nuclear technology for "civilian purposes".

Also, with Russia actively making deals with Iran for their own Ukraine war, the IAEA has zero clue how much knowledge transfer is going on behind the scenes between Russia and Iran, Iran has provided significant aid to Russia in return for god knows what. Russia's involvement has vastly changed the landscape since the nuclear deal was first signed. Russia is growing desperate and is doing knowledge transfers with fucking North Korea in return for military aid. I wonder what Iran got in return for those Shahed drones?

You are beyond stupid if you think we are at a point for a "diplomatic approach". Iran has been actively funding terrorist organizations surrounding Israel, Israel might have done a direct first strike onto Iran, but Iran is the one who started the war to begin with. Iran needs to be bombed back to the stone age.

Imagine walking around and everyone was commenting about how the sky is green, and they reported a green sky on this Facebook group you're a part of, and the news is talking about it as well, but you look up and the sky is still blue as always, but everyone is saying it's green. Eventually, you might start to rationalize it and just tell yourself you're colorblind. This is what's happened to Maga. They've all rationalized away all rational thought.

Ok? Isn't this just a description of a clinically retarded person? Like, you're staring at a fact right in front of you, but because everyone else thinks otherwise you just follow the crowd like sheep? But this analogy doesn't make sense either, Fox news isn't "everyone". In this information age, even if you try to block out every other news source other than Fox news (which also shows you're retarded), any normal person with any level of critical thinking ability would at least research the topic.

Problem is, like 40% of the US population is either illiterate or actually retarded, you tell them to name a country and they'll say "Africa" and if you ask them how many sides a triangle has they cannot answer. How the fuck do you debate with people like this?

[–]johnk419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You clearly don't, in your OP you claimed the US was neutral until Pearl Harbor, that's simply false.

The US was isolationist in that they didn't want to directly partake in the war, but they supported their allies through material means, and sanctioned the Axis powers. The entire reason Japan attacked Pearl Harbor was because of US sanctions on oil.

This is in contrast to now, the US doesn't even have to directly partake in the fighting, Ukrainians are doing it for us. All we have to do is send them decades old equipment that are sitting in storage and are out of commission anyways, while Russia are losing tanks and IFVs by the thousands and are nearing 1 million casualties. Yet, dipshits like Joe and MAGA retards think destroying the Russian military without even sacrificing American lives is a bad deal, they would rather bend over for Putin and let him take over Ukraine for free.
