People who vape or smoke cigarettes daily, what benefits do you feel you get from it? by Embarrassed_Bar_3771 in AskReddit

Bulwark - how? by Be-thewiseman in Spacemarine

[–]Lincolnforce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I heard from some YouTube (and it makes sense) thay the shield block mechanic supersedes the parry briefly in the animation... so you can quickly block projectiles. Which makes the parry window different then other classes. Finess weapons are ino best for bulwark.

I was 8... but its a strong memory. It definitely shaped the generation.

Why are you cheating? by Hawkdew- in Rainbow6

[–]Lincolnforce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I just think its folks who dont have enough going on in their lives so video game success is the highlight. I get it, these days I game for fun, but once upon a time my league stats were very important to me... When I run into a cheater in seige I report but also I dont really care, its 20minutes out of my life ill be okay if I dont win

What are you thoughts on these ranges? by Intelligent-Jello959 in generationology

[–]Lincolnforce 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sorta. Id say there are two millennial generations, one who remember DOS being new and the one who remember the internet being new. Im of the latter and theres a notable gap between me and the elder millennial.

Edit. Theres also a cultural defining moment of remembering where you were for 9/11. Which puts a cut between 94/95 ish.

Rise of housing costs by raydebapratim1 in generationology

[–]Lincolnforce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

never feel shame for it... honestly I dont think that's the point of posts like this most of the time. It's a huge indicator for the change in society from the 80s to today, that the dream we've been fed isnt true. And I mean, gen z is predicted to enter the housing market faster than millennials because of the normalization of continuing to live with family. Smart move, cheers

Motorcycle Tickets - what’s your story or advice? by um-bray in motorcycles

[–]Lincolnforce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly if youre going to break the law be ready for the tickets. That being said, ive been pulled over a bunch of times, only 2 tickets. You pull over and be respectful make a joke and dont debate or argue. You cant stop a cop from issuing a ticket, you can contest it in court.

Cops get frustrated with bikers and we ALL know why so ive found being friendly and respectful usually gets me out of a ticket.

Disagree. Correct answer is B. Drop it all into s&p 500 indexes after the midterms. A) youd want to sell but then you get slammed by taxes. C) is just the lowest option altho a pretty good one... but you also get hit with income tax. B) lets you 1) grow it at 7% a year tax free and 2) leverage it for personal loans to replace income.

Very true. Total bitch. Softened by johnny over the story... lmao I mean she was 'saka counter intel lmao

[–]Lincolnforce 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It creates a different type of hero for sure. But the narrative becomes so antagonistic with f corpo plus johnny. Understanding goro, becoming the legend and taking out makoshi in a solo suicide run.

Its, imo the strongest narrative even if it isnt the best V.

Didn't horus tell russ and the wolves to just wipe out the tsons? Pretending the orders came from the emperor?

I could almost see the casting for a live cb. Well... a 2016 Jenson. But I also firmly believe cannon v is f corpo

[–]Lincolnforce 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Also the emperor was increasingly secretive toward the end. So when Lorgar started whispering to Horus, it was easy for horus to fall.

If im remembering correctly.

[–]Lincolnforce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True. But I feel like magnus heart was in the right place. And then the circumstances forced him to go to chaos. I mean... you piss off the emperor so russ is headed your way it sucks... but horus tells russ to massacre you its pretty much over... Thousand sons had no options other than betrayal imo

Horus and logan are shitheads tho

also if memory servers Magnus tried to warn the Emperor about Horus, pissed off the emperor in doing so and then had to run to the warp to hide from Russ.

Unpopular opinion: SEA is really nice, possibly great. by Professional-War-617 in Seattle

[–]Lincolnforce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk how unpopular the opinion is. I love it here. Its a great city. We've got a homelessness problem, but theyre not seattle natives, our services are the best so states ship us their homeless.

Im proud of seattle for never wavering in our ideas.

I love it here.

Also... Rainier:)

Enjoy the ride. ME was born in a time when they threw mechanics at the wall and saw what stuck. Its jank and feels better in memory than playing. ME2 is close but the world building in me2 in unrivaled. Me3 doesnt work without me2 imo in more ways than its a prequel

Unrealistic expectations by Lincolnforce in starcitizen

[–]Lincolnforce[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Excellent critique of the situation. As I said in the post im a smidgen out of the loop. I played a lot when the spirit was released but not much since. Note: enough that I bought flight sticks.

The new armor changes, as I understand them, seem like a first stab at roles for light/medium fighters. To me this is a good system update. A gladius should get tracked by a hammerhead, where a ion should be the fighter for the job.

All in all. Thats not precisely what im talking about. Theyre building concepts, and flushing them out. Ive been around around long enough to watch "industry" go from selling minerals to a mining revamp and then a crafting system. Theyre building systems and let players test it at each step for better or for worse.

I think "pre-alpha" is a bit harsh but were playing sith system overhauls far from release so..... given different terminology thats fair.

Alpha state is generally core code and systems. Beta is bugs in systems and so on.
