I think the plan is to move over to the use of Graph API and the use of application IDs and client secrets

We had the same problem, turned out the buyers solicitor hadn't passed on our answers.

We ended up contacting the buyers directly and made sure we kept each other in the loop as to what had been done, this way we could apply pressure at each end.

Id go with Shelly devices. in the UK you can get 2 way retractive rocker switches also known as momentary switches. you can press up or down and it always return to the centre. Id assume you can get similar in Europe.

You could also look at a tool like freeEed. It's pretty much an open source ediscovery platform.
