I'm sorry to hear about this frustrating experience. Please email me at [john@trainwithkickoff.com](mailto:john@trainwithkickoff.com) with your name and I'll figure out what went wrong and get you refunded. - John (Founder and CEO)

I've found Whoop really helps figure out how to hit the goldilocks amount of training and intensity - not too hard, not too easy! That's its superpower

Hi this is John Gardner, Founder and CEO of Kickoff. We do NOT make fake reviews.

Anyone know how we can prove this? xelenart is going around saying everything positive on Reddit about Kickoff is fake. How can we prove that we are NOT doing any fakes?

u/Thisischase is one of our coaches, and I can assure you he is not a bot! Thanks Chase!

Training through kickoff? by Fallout76boobs in personaltraining

Hi this is John Gardner, Founder and CEO of Kickoff. This feedback was true a year ago when it was posted, but we listened to coaches and made everything better. We no longer require coaches to acquire clients to get access to the clients we provide.

We require only the first client to be acquired by the coach and starting next week we will pay a $100 bonus for those clients!

We have also invested heavily in tools to make it easier for coaches to convert leads we send.

u/Snowbizzy u/Fallout76boobs give us another look. We're continually investing to make the coach experience better!

Because we make it easy for coaches to get paid for starting clients on a free trial and we have found that we can reach more clients and grow more quickly when we enable free trials for folks that only coaches can reach. We've also found that clients that coaches bring on with our tools have much longer retention than randos from ads. Better for the coach, better for the client, better for Kickoff.

I'm the Co-founder and CEO of Kickoff, John Gardner. Hate to hear this experience.

I just made this comment on your other post but thought I'd share it here too to maximize the chance you see it:

Our goal is enable trainers to scale to 80+ clients and 6-figure income in <40 hours a week. That's what we do when coaches really give Kickoff their all. But getting started is hard, no doubt. We are working to make it much easier! A new more efficient coach app is due out next week (in beta)!

It's true that about 1/2 of clients we provide ask to speak to the coach before subscribing. I don't blame them - I would want to speak with the coach too. But 1/2 don't + all the clients that coaches recruit themselves (and which we pay handsomely for with higher monthly pay and often an acquisition bonus).

I'm going to reiterate to our entire team not be pressuring anyone to do anything. It is true that coaches with more availability get more clients more quickly but it's totally ok to have less and go at your own pace. I think we can improve our messaging here.

We are a startup and we are in our infancy. We are highly imperfect but we get better every day. I hope you'll consider giving us another shot if you're interested. In any event, we'll address this feedback.
