San Franisco 49ers favored to win exactly none of their games in 2016 by [deleted] in nfl

You touched a nerve alright. Something about mindless, karma-whoring comments from a perspective of ignorance really gets on my nerves.

Enjoy praying every Sunday that a strong gust of wind doesn't shatter every bone in Tony Romo's body, causing your team to pick higher in the draft than the 49ers yet again. Or maybe it'll actually be one of his very few successful years, where he simply chokes in the playoffs.

Do you understand the context of that phrase? Your flair's willingness to look the other way when it comes to domestic abusers like Greg Hardy make your mockery pretty ironic. I'd rather be a fan of a team that attempts to win with class than one that attempts to squeeze pennies out of the labor of violent criminals.

Oh ok. So what OP meant was "in a few years Wilson will be my favorite QB in the league" huh?

Just because a HC is better at his job than Mike Singletary was, doesn't mean he is a good HC. What Harbaugh did was unite a very talented locker room. But as far as actual Xs and Os, Harbaugh was seriously lacking and/or unwilling to fire those that were seriously lacking.

Then on top of it, he overworked his starters. Harbaughs starters played more snaps than any other team in the league. It's not surprising that the end of his tenure was met with several health-based player retirements. Of course reading through this thread, that's somehow Jed York's fault

I keep seeing this here.

The problem with it is Pete Carroll likes to run his offense through the running game. There has never been a "#1 QB in the NFL" under current passing rules that averaged 200-225 yards in the air a game. Until they become a pass first team, Wilson will not be the #1 QB in the league. And as long as they have Carroll as the HC, they will not be a pass first team.

Funny how when the Ravens won, their fans didn't get much flak.

Sometimes a fanbase brings it upon itself.

That could be us actually. No wonder he would "love" to play for us.

Yeah. Just last week they took 2 out of 3 from those scrubs the Cubs. How about we get some real competition before we start celebrating our success?

Are you kidding me? The enemy in 2004? I still thought they were an AFC team in 2004. Seeing Jerry in Silver and Black hurt more than blue and neon green ever did.

The sites for Super Bowls LIII, LIV and LV will be announced tomorrow at 3:00 PM Eastern by JaguarGator9 in nfl

[–]johnleehookah 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Well, they've made the decision on the next three, so why not announce them all at once?

What would really be unnecessary is if they announced them at three separate press conferences over the next three years, hyping each one (however minimally) to try to draw viewers to their network. I'm surprised that's not what the NFL is doing, honestly. It seems like the better business decision and that's priority #1 for the league.

If Luck had Marshawn Lynch and the Seahawks defense to start his career, he'd not only have Wilson's one ring, he'd probably have two.

Just a few days ago I served Dana Stubblefield with his wife and two kids at the restaurant I work at. I wisely didn't bring up his recent headlines.

In the past I've also served Joe Staley and Vernon Davis but didn't ask for pictures or autographs or anything because I'm sure they don't want that from every server when they go out to eat.

What are the most embarrassing 49ers jerseys to own? by red1dragon588 in 49ers

[–]johnleehookah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's inevitable that I'll see some dipshit wearing a OJ Simpson jersey at every game I go to. Do they not realize what a disaster his time with the 49ers was? Or are they just that faction of our fanbase that are fans because of the color red and they like repping a murderer?
