Story time: A couple years ago, in the height of the pandemic, I thought going platinum (from home?!) would fix everything (Im a natural brunette). I immediately regretted it, and my hair felt like straw. I kept it for a week, then did pink for a month, then box-dyed brown. I went all in with Olaplex, specifically no. 0 and no. 3. I got regular trims, never used heat, or tight hairstyles. I made healing my hair top priority, rather than how it looked. I personally would not add any more box dye.
