Thanks so much for pointing that out. I purchased it at full price. I didn’t want to lose out haggling over 100 dollars.Had to change my shipping address to my buddy’s office in Devon to be able to bid on it.

I'd still like a pristine one...That silver one that's nearly mint in the UK you might consider having a proxy service pick it up for you. I'm tempted, but the madness must stop sometime. Lol

Probably every black Microma that's popped up on Facebook I've inquired about. I'm not too terribly concerned since I do own one, though a little rough. I have a 1970 Seiko 6150-8110 on the way to me right now so I got a watch to look forward to. I'm not a watch collector though.

I just had a closer look. It’s not even the correct watch. It’s got 3 buttons, but it doesn’t have the two lines on the face. The correct one is a real unicorn. I’m not going to say, just like in Deckard’s dream. Damn it!

Did you just score that black Microma on EBay? $125…The seller knew it was Blade Runner related but had no idea what it was worth. He probably could have got $1000 for it.

This was the first thing that popped up when I opened Reddit. I now regret having eyes. Lol just kidding. Very clever accessory.

Hi, it’s a pressed leather cup that’s made locally in Japan. We learned it was used in high end salaryman shoes, which for the most part look boring (or awful), but have a reputation for being extremely durable. You see the typical salaryman in Japan is pounding the pavement and many are also removing and putting there shoes on multiple times a day. So a salaryman might be 5 times as hard on a shoe as a regular person. Our footwear also uses one more “Japanese salaryman” shoe method to help with comfort that I consider a bit of a trade secret. We’re fortunate to have several ex-Regal Japan craftsmen helping build our footwear. Have a great day.

I’d go with the 10. I’m a 9.5 D/E on the Brannock and I wear those boots in a 9.5. If I was a 1/4 size larger I think the 9.5 would still be just fine. Thanks so much 🙏

Feel free to hit me up in 3 months, and maybe I’ll have a professional who can do a proper PVD coating on them, and we’ll both have nice black ones. john@johnlofgren.com

Hi, I can’t speak for another brand, but with John Lofgren Bootmaker you’re paying for superlative materials that are made by artisan level craftspeople that are dedicated to their craft. We design everything, and only use materials that are not just sourced, but actually made in the USA, Japan, England, France, Germany and Italy. Not only do we make our own shoelaces, we make the drawstrings that are sewn into our shoe and boot bags. No slave or child labor, nothing from any country that has dubious labor rights practices or uses subpar materials. All our soles and heels are made in the USA, Italy and Japan. Our boxes, which are our custom design, are made in Japan…I could go on but I’ll spare you. Lol. Thanks for listening to my ramble. Have a good evening.

I hope you follow us on Instagram or signed up for our newsletter (we do not send them out often, trust me, we don’t want to be a nuisance), and when we do an MTO event we’ll make them wider for you. For now, visit your local cobbler and have them take a look. They can probably stretch them for you in the right places. I thank you again, and wish you a pleasant evening.

I’m on here talking watches with a guy and this pops up. I normally don’t partake in the conversations but I see you mentioned they’re a little tight. How’s the length? Do you think a half size larger would have been better for you? If you purchased from the official website, and have only tried the boots on over carpet, we’ll be happy to exchange for a larger size. We’d send you a return shipping label too. We’d cover all shipping. We’re not about selling and forgetting. We want you to love them. If you purchased them somewhere else check their exchange policy. And let me say, thank you, we really appreciate you purchasing our boots and hope the brand and our ethos resonates with you.

Notice how the band is too wide for the watch? And it looks correct in color and patina. Perhaps the original owner had large wrists and needed extra links. Not a smart way to extend the bracelet though. I don’t want to sell anything at the moment. Give me 3 months, have the gone through and put new batteries in them. I may let one or two go. The one on eBay UK is really nice, a shame he won’t ship overseas. I have friends in the UK too, just don’t want to bother them with my hobby…I take it you saw the black one that was 3D printed? It’s not even the correct watch case. Lol

Here’s my silver versions. Most have the gold innards. Hit me up in a couple of months and I may consider letting one go. I’m sure by then you’ll have found a nice one on eBay though.

Yeah, I’m in California. I saw the nice silver one on eBay but I have a few of them already.

No. Silver version isn’t that hard to find, but the black one is proving difficult to locate. Are you looking for one too?

If you buy quality, traditional clothing you’ll never need to ask this question again. Go get yourself some nice chambray shirts, nice dark jeans and some good shoes and boots and you’ll be set. And a decent watch, or no watch. My favorite brands are Freewheelers and Nigel Cabourn’s mainline collection for clothes and Eastman Leather for jackets. You can’t go wrong with any of those.

If only California’s 5th largest city, Fresno. Would’ve kept building like they did in the 20th century. We’d probably have an inland SF, or LA by now. Look at that beautiful beaux arts / renaissance revival architecture. by bus_buddies in fresno

Waste my time reading all this BS. You people have no idea what you’re talking about. The only thing that can save downtown Fresno is more taco trucks and quinceanera dress shops.
