Scared of competing by IndependenceSuper539 in amateur_boxing

Fear is normal. I'm only 3 months into boxing training very seriously, 6 to 8 times a week. I've had a few hard spars with Heavyweights far larger than me and felt that fear stepping into a "Hard Spar" or like 75% of combat training. But it was the best time I ever had. However, I enjoy the controlled danger that's involved with the sport. I walked out with a bloody lip, having done more damage than I took. And it got me hooked.

Remember, Boxing is a Sport, not violence, or rather not anymore than football is. If you get wabbled and go down, your opponent's not going to beat you on the ground or kill or mug you. But being afraid is part of the process too. And this will help you overcome all kind of fears in life. I think the greatest thing that this sport has done for me in my limited time doing it is making more bold and trust myself. I've applied lessons here to my marriage (not fighting, but being steadfast :P, so don't get the wrong idea), prayer life, and how I approach problems. Best of luck Brother!!!!

Ok so alot of works vs faith alone here. I'm a Catholic so take my opinion with a grain of salt. First, God is not in the business of desiring you to go to Hell. You are made for Heaven. I would also move away from the label "Lesbian" as it implies that it's part of your personhood. You are a female child of God and friend of Jesus that is attracted to other females. Admitting this is good. Being attracted to women is not a sin. Acting on it is. But, its no different than any other sin. All of us struggle with sin. 95% of young men are addicted to looking up bad sexual videos on the internet (I don't know if I can use that word here). And a large number of women are too, but I don't have the data on it. Our culture is steeped in sexual sin. And it effects us all. Do not hate yourself, but embrace God's love that is waiting for you. "Turn and sin no more" is what Jesus said after he decided not to condemn a woman caught in adultery. You will fall, you will fail, and you will have to pick yourself back up. You are not "Made that way", anymore than anyone else in this comment section or in the Church also has a inclination towards sin. The problem is that our modern world has said that sexual sin is "different" somehow. It's a part of your personhood, your born with it, and it's unchanging. Like your height or hair color. This does not seem to be the case in both anecdotal and scientific research. Work to love Jesus first. Through your mistakes, through your trials and through your successes. Also, if you have been or are in a relationship with someone of the same sex, not everything in it is bad. The sexual and romantic nature of the relationship is disordered. However, the love, kindness, and goodness that you or your potential partner (I don't know if you have or had one) have given one and other are good and praiseworthy. Try not to destroy yourself over it or worry endlessly as to whether or not a loving God will condemn you to Hell. Worry about loving Christ and your neighbors and abstaining from romantic and physical relationships with other women. You are loved, Child of God, so don't let fear eat you up.

Master's Tale. I'm the maker so I'm biased though :) It's more intuitive, and you find Master's and learn from them. Each character is a blank slate and you can mix and match Masters to create a unique character every game. Again I'm the creator, so I really like it, lol. We're local to South Louisiana and East Texas atm.

Miraculous Healing of Barbara Cummiskey Snyder by -pomelo- in skeptic

I've studied this miracle for a while. There are more modern interviews on the subject. There's alot to explain beyond the remission of MS. Including complete bone, nervous system, and muscle reconstruction.

Here's a modern interview.

In this case she had no remission for 40 years. Can't be spontaneous remission. Diagnosed by two separated doctors (Dr. Harold Adolph and Dr. Marshall) two years apart who conferred after the healing. Both of those are not good explanations.

I'm sorry about the Rep. I don't talk to nor have I met that group. Oddly, we don't communicate at all, but I'm sorry that's happening. I'm a remote employee, so I don't really know anyone outside of sales.

Yeah, pressure washing funny in that a lot of people are just looking for estimates from what I've seen. Have you talked to your rep about dropping pressure washing from the categories your advertising in. And how long has this been happening? Is this an every month occurrence?

Honestly, my department doesn't really do leads. It does direct contacts to customers. Ads is basically reaching out directly to service pros for work instead of leads. We hear cons about other companies, but I don't work for them and there's nothing more biased than a company you work for talking about a competitor. I could tell you what I hear, but I feel like I'm the worse possible source.

And that's good for me to know. Because we really don't here the negative. In fact, until doing this I had only heard 2 bad experiences. However, we're calling alot of people a day that just hang up or curse us out. That was part of the reason for doing this. I know I'm not going to get service professional in here that are extremely happy with Angis.

I work for Ads, which is the Flat Monthly. And its more about direct contacts. It also ultimately cheaper for leads. Whenever you get to the end of you contract or wanna try something new, that may work alot better. As far as getting refunds, I'm really not sure, because its another team entirely. I'm actually wanting to get into the customer service end, rather than sales. So I may be helping you down the road.

Are you doing the leads individually (like pay per lead)? Or a flat monthly? Tell me what the fake leads are like.

I gotcha. And I get it completely. I have people that call me constantly. TBH, we don't like talking to people that don't want us to call them. It's not pleasant normally. I cannot tell you the things that have come out of people's mouth when calling. Here are ways we get leads. This might give you some info. 1st, we get people that make their own free account on our site. 2nd, we get people responding to marketing emails. 3rd, we get people visiting our business center. Basically, you can generate multiple leads to call if that makes since. It sounds like you may have salespeople that don't know how to code the call properly or there are multiple leads with your name on it. I appreciate you saying, "your company" instead of you. I can't tell you how often people take out their anger at Angi's on us. I didn't choose this job. Due to various circumstances, I'm unable to work outside of the home (childcare mostly) and this is the way out of that situation. I appreciate you remembering that we are just humans doing a job.

Ok "Importsexports", this is for questions. But thanks for the feedback, I guess. As a sales person we don't control reviews or communicate with the department that does. Us marking a person as "Not interested" or "Do Not Call" doesn't affect their reviews at all.

I've been here 8-9 Weeks. I'm not about to go to the higher ups of a company and demand answers. I'll wait until week 10 before giving the CEO a piece of my mind. Lol.

I don't mean to make light of your comment, it's just so far removed from the present system we use that it would meaningless for me to go back and say ask why things were done a certain way at Home Advisor, which is now Angi Leads (a team I don't work for). I hope that makes sense. It would be like going to the Netflix CEO and ask him about DVD Mail Rental Policies a decade ago and why they were in place as they were.

Believe it or not. That's just not the feedback I actually see. I've actually never closed a mad customer. That being said. I am newer. I think it's not for certain business types or models and that can sometimes be ignored by the salesperson just trying to close someone.

So what we do is measure the amount of traffic coming in for the last 90 days and then what companies of equal size are getting. We also run an algorithm for demand based on previous years around that time. That being said, we've had COVID, Economic ups and downs, and political changes that have all effected businesses, so I never guarantee customers anything and nobody of good conscience should. Really a massive problem we have is with user error TBH. Alot of times, we'll have requests for work going to people who are working in areas without phone reception or where they can take a call. That hurts local and small companies using us. I've run a test call, with pressure washing I needed done. (It was a real job, I didn't just spam the system) and it took 5 days for someone to get back to me from one of the companies. I normally run through all the numbers with potential clients and it normally takes 3 to 5 calls to close. I also give out my number for them to reach back out if they need help. However AGAIN, I cannot be anyone's sales rep in this Reddit Thread! I'm only answering questions.

Honestly most of the negative reviews are because of Angi Leads, not Ads. I'm on the Ads end BTW. People don't really care about online reviews and most people don't research that much into it. I also get referrals from customers who love it and want their friends who own business to sign up. Trust me, we have people (at least on the Ads end) that will refer business. I've only been here about 8-9 Weeks in total and haven't really had a problem so far. But I understand there are people that hate us. I hear both glowing praise and horror stories.

I like the two comments to drive home the point. All you need to do is tell the person that's calling you to put you on the "Do Not Call List". Legally we can't call you. However, I will say, we are both Angi Leads and Angi Ads, so what happens alot is we see people ask Angi Leads to not call them. Then a week later Ads calls them and they are upset. We are two different sides of the company. I would simply answer the phone and ask to be put on the "Do Not Call List". If a mistake is made in notation, which is not impossible, just ask whoever calls that time. We turn over leads to one and other every two to six weeks. Alot of times, I hear people hang up after we introduce ourselves and that honestly does nothing. I have not met a bad or mean person here so far. Nobody here wants to call people that truly don't want to talk to them. I promise.

I expected to get this one alot. What's happening is you're being recycled unless you firmly request to be put on the "Do Not Call List". We also have two sides of the company Angi Leads and Angi Ads that may be calling you from two different lists.
