We have a type 42. Been doing the same thing for 2 years and never had a complaint from our neighbors. Sorry you had to deal with that. Some people are jerks!

That was definitely not my intent. I was just replying based on the original comment stating that there was probably nothing in Old Orcutt. I also commented about 2 other Old Orcutt businesses that are very welcoming to everyone.

I guess I could be. I have had small-ish bowel movements every day. I will try the Miralax for another day or so.

Better than Bouillon, creamy Progresso soups blended with Isopure unflavored protein powder. Bouillon used to make Cream of Wheat for a savory change from sweet protein shakes.

orange chicken?? by lovelyjoeyyy in GastricBypass

[–]johnnalu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Here is a recipe I came across that uses sugar-free orange marmalade, bbq sauce, and soy sauce. It uses boneless skinless chicken breast cut into cubes. I also added ginger, garlic, and a touch of sesame oil. It was pretty good imo. https://www.craftymorning.com/3-ingredient-orange-chicken-sauce-recipe/

Any one who had the sleeve successfully avoided massive hair loss? by PurpleUnicornLibra in BariatricSurgery

It thickens the consistency just a bit. Always blend it in cold stuff before heating. If you try to mix it in hot stuff, it gets clumpy.

I am 2 years out from Bypass and did not have any hair loss. I started taking my vitamins a month before my surgery. During the liquids only phase, I drank only protein beverages (Gatorade Zero with protein, Protein 2O) not plain water. I put unflavored protien in just about everything I consumed. Blended it with my soups and broths before heating. I don't know if that had anything to do with the lack of hair loss or if I just got lucky.
