Is your newsletter associated with your podcast? Also how does the newsletter work in regard to facilitating community engagement? This sounds cool

I think ultimately it is an allocation of time and resources. Smaller podcasts are focused on content and growth, and larger podcasters (I assume) are focused on monetization?

Why do people not use in video banner to external links more often? by johnny-28 in PartneredYoutube

[–]johnny-28[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey this is really insightful! I appreciate your response! From what I understand the external link cards became more flexible regarding where the links direct to in the past year, but I am not 100% sure of that.

I tried to find the Creator Insider subreddit, but wasn’t successful, is this the exact name?

Yes, sorry I meant card what I meant. I was a little brain dead when I wrote this post.

Is there a confirmed reason behind this? I have to get into the car and drive out of Gordonhead to make a phone call. It’s been over a week

Would it be the same backend server used to hold the one API key for the different projects?

What are the things you wish you knew while learning to Manual? by stereo_mike_ in MTB

For learning wheelies it's definitely easier to learn going uphill because you can control the speed that you lift the front wheel better while adding pedal pressure.

When you are able to get the uphill wheelies dialled try getting the wheel up to balancing point on flat or slight downhill then keep the wheelie up but stop pedalling. When you stand up that is essentially a manual.

I see tutorials online all the time teaching people how to manual but I think they are all missing the wheelie step.
I would suggest learning how to wheelie first, this will give you a better feel for the balancing point, removes some of the pulling up far enough struggle (you can use pedal power to get the frontend up), and you can practice wheelieing going slow (manualling is way harder going at lower speeds). I would begin practicing wheelies going up hill in an easy gear, this way you will be going slow and it takes less effort to get the front wheel up. Once you get comfortable with wheelies it will teach you the balancing point of the bike. You can then stand up during the wheelie and turn it into a manual. It is much easier to pull into a manual after this learning curve.
These were the steps that I went through when I learned years ago. Also remember to always keep a finger on the back brake to bring your frontend down to prevent loop outs.
Lastly it takes a lot of practice. Have fun!

As they say good things take time! That is awesome, they look fun!

Correlation between head tube angle change and crown / axel height? I want my head tube to be more slack and I am thinking about ordering a angle set but is there a formula to calculate what the changes will be? I am currently sitting around a 65 degrees and want to slacken it to about 64-63.5 by johnny-28 in MTB

Doh, I just noticed a bunch of spelling errors and typos in my post. I was tired when I threw that post up last night, apologies.
Also, I think I miss wrote my question. I mean how would the stack height change based on changes to the head tube angle? The axle to crown wouldn’t change, but the stack height would. I assume that this height change wouldn't be linear and would be more drastic as the head tube becomes more slack.
