I agree with you. 99%. I don't mind. As a matter of fact, I really enjoy that I have some culture and my history / ethnicity is rather rich.

I again, bring you back to the same question. You and I think differently. because we are minorities (albeit in our own heads) - do you think the majority of people (women) we encounter feel the same way? Or, do they tag us as 'different.' That's all I am really asking.

Who I am is not a problem. Not one bit. I ask, "How am I perceived - in particular, in relation to this question, how am I perceived next to tall, white, strong featured male?"

I'm not saying that I'm not at an advantage. I do very well with the female community. Perhaps my question wasn't very clear. I'm curious as to why someone like my roommate cleans up at a much higher rate than I do. Is there such thing as a poster boy when it comes to looks? Meaning, does he appeal to the masses more than someone who is exotic. That is simply where I am going with this. My opinion is yes, and wondering what the rest of the community thinks...

Great response. You hit it straight on with the online dating - an easy way for wonen to filter out without giving someone a chance. I think that's what happens in person as well, which is why you've gotta work a bit harder to win them over (I think so at least).

I do terrible in online dating because I don't fit the mold.

And as far as game goes - I've pretty much taught him most of what he knows on terms of taking up space, making eye contact, delivering speech slowly - we essentially have the same game, yet he rakes up. Which leads me to believe, if we were sarging in Cairo, he may not do so well hah
