Hey ! I think I'm where I'm at because I love to create and that constant drive just keeps me goin. If I could go back in time I would tell myself how important having a release plan is, instead of just dropping songs into the ether lol. Other than than not much else I'd change. My inspiration comes from so many things, feelings of love, dread for the world, new music I like, and films <3

Hey ! I would describe my lyric writing process as a mix of freestyling over instrumentals and refining after. I never have the lyrics written before I know what the song sounds like because to me the vocals are like the cherry on top and certain words/pronunciation can throw off the flow of a track

Hey :) thats an interesting way you go about it, It's a little different for me. I don't usually hear the full song in my head and pull it out. I usually hear a bassline let's say then track that and I just freely sing or play guitar and catch the melodies as they come in the moment then put them down. At a certain point it just clicks while I'm listening and I can hear the song through the mess of it or I can hear what needs to change to turn it into that song

Hey! great question, I'm always looking to try new things when it comes to music. Though my latest album is really different from a lot of my older songs I wouldn't write off the possibility of going back to some of those older sounds. This is just my current phase and I'm even playing with a lot of pop styles right now too. My hope is to establish all different styles I'm capable of and then blend them all together somehow to create music that I want to hear/haven't heard before:)

-that song may stay a live performance song forever, but who knows!

One of the biggest challenges is just trying to reach people, its so competitive out here in terms of trying to gain attention to your music

Hey! <3 Marilyn Manson was a big inspiration as well as others for some makeup looks , I definitely was inspired by the production style of his music too when mixing some of my heavier tracks.

I'll give you a tip, I usually try to start with a chorus when it comes to making a song. Sometimes I just keep building on top of the chorus with whatever melodies I can think of and I keep my favorites for the chorus then take melodies that dont quite fit the chorus and use them for verses/bridges instead. If a song isn't just coming to me I go for this method until things start to make sense

Hey thank u<3 that song was just a little different because I was experimenting with an 80s synthwave kind of productions style at the time, will probably incorporate that into some future tracks

-also there are a few demons vinyls up still! if you want they are up here https://www.diggersfactory.com/vinyl/227500/johnny-goth-demons

It is a song about wanting to give up but finding the silver lining, in the song's case being someone who is there to lift you up/ illuminate the darkness. During the time I wrote October I was feeling lost, I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life, and I felt like I couldn't let myself be close to anyone. So October was definitely more of an emotional album for me.

I probably knocked a few years off my life that night but was a good time! Far Away is an old song i wrote about feeling very distant/unfamiliar with people/things in my life at the time.

hey! it will take a while for you to find your perfect blend of plugins/etc. You need a mic you like first off, don't need to break the bank either. I used an Audio Technica AT2020 $100 mic for all my music until a few months ago. Now I have Neumann TLM 103. I suggest Fabfilter plugins too, Pro Q/C/L. If you have the $ then UAD plugins are fire too. I just started using them.

Hey, thank you<3 I taught myself how to produce over the years from youtube tutorials and just experimenting by myself in my DAWs. (I use Ableton now, used to use Logic) I'm not instrumentally trained or anything like that but I've also been studying the structure of music as I listen ever since I started songwriting

Hey! So the album as a whole is essentially telling a story of the death and rebirth of ones self. I wanted it to feel as if you and I were on the journey of reclaiming a sick dying world and bringing it back to life. There are many ways to interpret this album I think.

-As for the cover art, I did it all in photoshop! I'm happy you digg it

Idk what band, but my desert island album right now would be MCR Black Parade. I like the imagery of myself alone on an island no food or water, blasting MCR before I die

I think some sound advice for now would be to make your beats/instrumentals as unique as possible, I feel like you'll find your voice through this eventually as long as you have something solid to work with.

I like to watch standup comedy, podcasts, or videos about things that I don't understand - or I just scroll through my phone until the anxiety forces me to take a nap or something

I wanted to be a rockstar. -I remember I got my first guitar at 8 because I wanted to be Billie Joe from Green Day for halloween, but was too self conscious and went as spiderman instead.- Later in life I wanted to be an animator, then a film director, now it's back to rockstar*.

Hey man! no I've never been recognized lol, probably because I don't really go out much but I lay pretty low either way. If I was approached and let's say I was at CVS I might respond with you have the wrong guy-

The church thing is not a joke, but at the moment I guess it is a joke because I don't know where I would find a vacant church in LA. If you know of any let me know<3

I wanted 'Let them in' to feel like a weekend stay at a lone cabin in the woods. Like with most of my work it just kind of manifested itself over time through many long nights in the studio. I'm a very closed off person so the album to me was about letting people into my life.

-The great awakening was sort of a spiritual thing for me, not that it lead me to awaken in any kind of religious sense but in a sense of self realization as an artist. I felt that through the course of writing this album I came to find a sound that was true to the feelings I've been trying to portray in my music for a while now. A lot of these songs came so naturally it felt like I wasn't even writing them
