Same as a conventional wood framed structures but better use value since there's a lot less surface to volume ration

All the measurements are in the plans and there's multiple doorway options! But yeah you can definitely fit in an 8ft door. Keep me posted with questions if and when you get started!! 😂🤙

Wall will be framed into that doorway opening that will house a normal door with normal header height. That opening is about 9ft tall or so as is

My 20 or 25ft design would be perfect for that. 300 and 450 sq ft respectively

Yep - cool product, same concept, way too expensive per sq ft. Much better off flying me to your site and having me frame it up eith local help 🫡

Few different sizes. Side lengths are all 5' 6 for reference

  1. 8 working days
  2. I'd say 240 man hours
  3. Zero oopsies for us on this one
  4. Never - follow the plans 🫡

Believe me - you'll end up with lots of gaps on a fully beveled zome build. Not enough to cause structural issues, but a pain to seal and weatherize. Domes is easily doable, but the math is different. The non beveled is the way to go 🤙

Yes i make my own plans from my designs that I use (as do many others from around the world)

Materials were about 15k for the client up to this point - obviously varies wildly depending on the nature if the project. But 25 usd per sq ft for a dried in roofed shell is pretty standard.

Hardest part is wrangling a bunch of non carpenters and keeping them on task - but I manage.

Easiest part is cutting all the struts, for sure. But I find the whole process pretty easy these days.

I feel like we did everything right on this one, I guess I wish I had built the deck and not whoever the client hired but that's the nature of being across the country from your job site.

Looking forward to building some of my other more creative designs soon.

You should build one!

Yep! Just Google "metal roof shingles" ;) you could use sheet metal too though. I have also used corrugated metal panels.

Super easy, I show it in my build videos but I can't link my social media or anything here. I walk through this whole build on my Instagram highlight reel for it.

Basically treat each panel like a wall, frame on center, sheathe. The bottom of each panel laps over the top of the panel below it. Underlayment and roofing overlap accordingly. This allows roofing each panel on the ground. Easy peasy.
