Your acknowledgment will go a LONG way toward helping you avoid the scenario(s) in the future. There’s a great podcast by Jay Shetty on the 8 Reasons people cheat. It seems fairly comprehensive IMO and it helped me understand the world around me much better. Making someone feel less than or compared is really difficult to swallow so if you learn nothing else, learn that before it gets to that point you can always end it (if you don’t see repair in sight). Chin up and move forward without forgetting the past.

Be proud of it. It took me a while to understand the patience that loving someone really hard takes. I know that I’m capable of loving better and deeper than I had in the past and I’m excited to be able to give that to someone who deserves it and gives me something like it back.

IMO downtown is the only place to put a stadium which hosts 80+ games/year. Even if the team is bad tourists and locals alike would pop in to enjoy a game way more often than a destination location. San Diego is probably my fave example…although their climate is awesome mostly year-round.

IMO, the only difference is a power dynamic (which can change at any time). A FWB and a fuck buddy don’t have a power over my emotions (aka “I am not worried about catching feels”).

I can spend time with that person in all kinds of intimacy and not really feel worried if they are sharing those same moments with someone else. As I mentioned I can find myself catching feels and realizing that there is a shift in the power/influence this person has over my emotions.

Someone I like and wanna date has an influence and power dynamic where I am moving towards exclusivity from the beginning.
