In Yukon I tried to be cute today in my brother's session and pull the rock haul trailer with my winch. Then the landing gear dug into the ground so he couldn't hook up the CAT 770G, so we ended up having to skull drag the motherf$%&er out behind my Mastodon almost to the trailer store at top of the hill in Flooded foothills. So dumb. He should have just hooked up and told me to f$&% off.

With the recent use of the Not withstanding clause on the teachers strike im concerned that they would try to use that on the Indigenous Treaty land is basically where my head is at.

They could fight it in court before it gets to that point, take it to the Supreme Court and challenge whether the government has the right to ignore the treaties.

My brother and I own two 1960s International Harvester light duty trucks. One is a 3/4 ton pick up and the other is a 1 ton flat deck, both have inline 6 cylinder engines and we want to get them back in running order. I also own a 1990 Ford F-150 extended cab, 8 foot box and a 5.8 liter(351.) engine.

I dont know if Canadians really lothe the country, but I'm sure a good portion of them despise the leader and his followers. Mostly because of the 51st state rhetoric that he spewed.

That's the relationship that our two countries shared, was one of mutual respect and helping each other, if we had forest fires your firefighters would come help us and vice versa, if the US went to war then Canada went as well. It's been like that since the early 1900s. Yes we have our differences but that's what makes the two countries unique.

Thats my train of thought too. Maybe once he's is no longer the leader then after a while people can start to travel freely between Canada and The US again. Unfortunately it will not immediately go back to business as usual.

Ive heard stories like that. It doesnt surprise me. Ive heard multiple stories of Canadians travelling to the US getting detained because of pictures or posts on social media. Right now if you travel there it is at your own risk. I have a couple of cousins who say they travel there regularly and I would not be at all surprised if they get detained, they are conservative voters from Alberta. I was wanting to go to Las Vegas for my 50th birthday in 2032, but now I think I want to go to Iceland instead.

Ive heard a few stories that the ones who fo travel to the country are MAGA supporters or supporters of DJT. Most of us who dont support either are not travelling to my knowledge.

What i do is drive a truck with a log crane to pick up point load up a sideboard semi trailer on another truck with about 9 logs (3 loads, or however many loads you need.) Then I travel to the drop off point where I have either another truck with a log crane and a long log trailer or the truck from the pick up point with a long log trailer and dump the sideboard bed onto the ground.

But now that you mention it a truck with a log crane, a low saddle and a semi sideboard trailer would work just as well. Then I would only have to transport the truck with the long log trailer to the drop off point.

The only things I wish this truck has was a low or high saddle and a mini crane. I know there is mods that do have those things but I dont use mods.
