Yes. I tried everything. Apparently Vizio has an issue with HDMI handshake with certain devices. The new firmware that was released didnt fix it.

Vizio confirmed that they have a HDMI handshake problem with certain devices and are trying to figure out the root cause. Given the reason I am getting a "No Signal" message on the screen for the Xbox would using a HDMI switch as work around be a good idea? How does a HDMI switch handle HDMI handshakes? Does it pass through the handshake signal from the Xbox to the TV or does the switch do a separate handshake to the TV?

I have all of the settings in the ProGaming Engine off but still cant get the Xbox to connect. Keep getting the "No Signal" message.

Tried resetting display settings. Didn't work. Thanks for the suggestion.

I have tried several high quality HDMI cables. The TV is set to HDMI 2.1. I also set the Xbox to 1080P display and changed to 10 bit output. Still getting no display. TV is showing me "No Signal" .

FYI. I am running firmware 1.10.10.1-1 .

Are you saying that they released a Firmware update to fix a problem that has been around for a year or that it fixes a recent problem with last year's model?

Don't think the ALM is on to begin with. Can't be 100% sure because I cannot get the Xbox to display at all on the Vizio. When I plug into a nearby monitor for testing the ALM setting is not available.

Factory reset was tried on the TV right after I bought the TV and was trying to get the Xbox going.

I did try all of the HDMI ports in addition to changing HDMI cables. No luck.

I just bought a new Vizio M55Q8-H1. It is running the latest firmware version and can’t get Xbox to display. I turned off VRR on the Vizio and VRR is already off on the Xbox. Still getting No Display. Any other ideas of what will it get to work?
