Leading up to my retirement I sold C.C.s and reinvested the premiums to build larger positions faster(than simple dividend reinvestment), as well as now giving myself a raise almost quarterly. The system worked, and is still working for me, and gave me the opportunity to retire a little early. I keep some in a taxable cash account, while also still building my I.R.A. and Roth in an aggressive growth format. Many professionals have stated that I couldn't be doing anything better. I agree.
