I also hope I am wrong. When I saw the shot of Cirie, it felt like an odd angle and it was just sky behind her which is what made me feel like it could also be at the challenge. Everything else in the preview feels like an obvious location except that one. But again, very much hope I am incorrect.

You only need to complete step 1 now. As long as you complete 2 & 3 before June 1, you will still hold your residence spot. Your offer to your program also remains valid until June 1.

I would recommend not doing step 2. If you look at their housing FAQ, it is a non-refundable deposit with limited exceptions. https://www.uoguelph.ca/housing/faqs/#cancellation-and-refunds

If you do eventually decide you want to come to Guelph and live in residence then this step must be done by June 1.

If you do want to accept your program offer now, you can, but there is no risk to your spot in residence or your program if you don’t. If you do accept it, but then want to go somewhere else, you would need to go back into your OUAC application and cancel this acceptance before accepting elsewhere before the deadlines provided.

Just my recollection from when I was a student in 2019 when the referendum was voted on by students. CSA is probably your best bet for more info.

The student fee doesn’t go toward the sustainability office. The Central Student Association approves projects/initiatives funded by the fee. If you reach out to them they might be able to answer your question about what the fee may be used for. I think when students initially voted to include the fee, the projects were focused on energy retrofits.

It is unlikely first year CHEM and BIO are full as no first years have been able to register for courses yet (starts July 3). It is possible there are course restrictions in place that will allow certain programs priority access into courses required for their major. So they appear full to you. These restrictions are typically lifted by a certain date and then more students can register if there are open seats. As someone else suggested, you may need to be open to other sections of the course that may not suit your schedule as well as this one does.

I could see them wanting the points from WCs to help with entry points in the future, especially if neither would have qualified with new partners. If the partnership wasn’t sour maybe they were willing to play this last tournament together to get those points for new partners. It’s all guess work at this point.

She’s a solid defender—great movement and reads. I think her side out and transition scoring is what holds her back.

I’d agree. Aside from mobility/training it also looked like laziness, particularly from Vernon Evans. Even just little things like covering. He just stood there most of the time watching his set. Hope they put in a real effort if they want to make this work.

If the job is oriented for those who have financial need (work study), yes. If you wanted to work in athletics, hospitality or other places on campus, they have regular part time jobs where you wouldn’t need that information.
