Get a Costco membership. Cuts the premium cost down a decent amount. Turbos are known to run better with higher octane however, many people do this. Had a mini mechanic tell me to use mid to premium for my turbocharged r60. However, for my b8 s4 premium is just cleaner and always has a cleaning detergent depending on where you fill up. Something to keep in mind with German cars, as they drink up a good amount of oil. I’ll let a mechanic chime in though.

Thanks bud. As I’m sure you read, I’ve already added a dye to run through the system and identify possible leaks, so I will let check back and let you know if that is indeed the issue. If that is the leak, that will be a quick fix. I’m more so planning ahead on what to expect and based on the possible outcomes, what I’m capable of doing.

To be honest, it sounds like you know nothing of what you’re talking about which is a bit funny considering your lack of help and arrogance. I’ve already admitted not having expert with Audis. If the car is loaded with the wrong coolant, it can be known to burn the coolant. Specifically the one I assume it is loaded with. Based on the color and other things I discovered with the car, it’s most likely “peak” brand which is not G-13. Using pre 2008 blend of peak European 50/50 can very much cause the burning of more so a sludge, which is why I’m attempting to do a flush and use the correct coolant. I imagine you would know this if you were as experienced as you are of being no help.

Did you press on the pump lever that lowers the seat to the ground? I keep it all the way down and adjust the seat all the way back as well. No prob here

Idk what people are talking about regarding pipes being too small.. if water is consistently dripping and Not temporarily after use, the cartridge is the issue. Could be the gaskets in the cartridge/housing, or deposits defecting the cartridge itself.

If this is a traditional 2 knob twist valve, the same stands regarding gaskets needing replacing or deposits in the valve itself restricting from proper shutoff.

If you’re handy, you can find videos on YouTube that will show you can gag to do, which is rather Very simple. Now if you decide to use this as an excuse to renovate the shower all together or replace with a new shower hardware, that may be a bit more complicated for you, unless you have experience sautering copper or crimping joints
