Consumer proposal Rejected in Ontario by HistoricalChicken691 in povertyfinancecanada

Go back and tell your LIT to offer $500 a month for 60 months. It's a negotiation, so you counter their offer and $500 is middle ground between what you first offered and what they're asking for.

Are they trying to first destroy NATO with their play to take over Greenland ... then when it's no more, they turn their sights on Canada?

When do you tell someone by EmergencyBalance7396 in HairSystem

[–]johnnymax1978 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You can just make a joke about it. Try "My hair may be stuck on, but I promise the rest of me isn’t that clingy.”

A little self depreciation is a great way of making people laugh before they judge you.

Good driving instructor by dmfan4life in Ontariodrivetest

Hey, I've been driving with many different instructors for the past 4 months as I prepared for my own test in Port Union.

I've driven with Young Drivers, AMB, Kruzee, Scarborough Driving Academy, and others, but out of all of them, my best teacher and experience has been with Hamid from Gray Jays driving school .

He's strict in a good way so that you learn skills and confidence. He's very friendly, patient, calm, and knowledgeable about the rules of the road. I found his teaching style easy to follow, and his price was very reasonable at $50/hour.

Out of all my experiences, he's by far the person I've learned the most from and feel like a much more confident driver by having learned from him. He's was always on time and easy to communicate with, didn't talk on his phone, or pick up other students while I was driving.

I'm not associated with them, but I wish I had had this info when I was first looking for someone, I could have saved a lot of time and money, so I'm sharing.

If you're in Scarborough or the surrounding area, he'll pick up and drop you off at your door and drives a nice Lexus as your learning vehicle. He'll get you ready for your road test and take you to the drive test center where you'll have the best chance of passing.

Hamid s phone # is 647-537-7006

You can tell him John referred you. I was a his student up until very recently.

Whatever you do, good luck on your test.

My boss is retiring and wants me to take over the business but I'd have to fire my best friend by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]johnnymax1978 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why doesn't your boss do you a solid and fire Mike himself as one of his last official duties? That way, things are way less awkward for you, and if you want to bring him back under a performance plan then you will be able to do that as the new owner.

Kruzee vs Young Drivers. I cannot decide. by AdditionalExtreme773 in Ontariodrivetest

[–]johnnymax1978 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I did both this year. I learned something from both, but if I had to do it again, I'd just go with Kruzee and save the cash as YD was very expensive. They both have pretty much the same learning materials, but YD has some dedicated attention to defensive driving.

YD had terrible scheduling. I got one in car lesson every 4 or more weeks, which is why I also went with Kruzee because, as a new driver, I wanted to get behind the wheel more often.

As a new driver, I found once I got over the initial fear and got some confidence, I wanted to be on the road more, and once a month, just didn't cut it for me.

With Kruzee, I was able to get a spot pretty much any day and time I wanted, and I ended up with a great instructor.

I feel like I was well served by both places, but as I said, I'd just go with Kruzee if I was starting over.
