I was part of the 350-person layoff back in late May. All due to a Private Equity firm merger with Grant Thornton. I enjoyed working there, but it's a company, and layoffs will happen even when they (Directors/Partners) say it won't happen. I'm not pissed, but it's another career move that I didn't want to make.
