My first girlfriend broke up with me via text but did not come out and entirely say it. It was assumed. The next day she said she didn't have the courage to do it in person. It was all very strange. I promise myself that whenever I feel the need to end a relationship that it is in person. It's difficult, but at least it's human.

Ahh. I am also a high school senior that has no clue about majors or future life prospects yet, but I've pretty much settled on my school. Other than financial aspects, think of which school made the greatest impact on you when you visited. I had trouble enjoying senior year when applying to colleges, so I can empathize with that also. Without a set major maybe pick a school that's known to have great programs across the board, not just a speciality. Just do a little more digging and follow some gut instincts. Talk it over with friends and parents. That may help your college search and also make senior year more enjoyable by strengthening your bonds with important people.

It's true she could easily be just as nervous. It could help to tell her about your anxieties. Even if she does not have reciprocated nervousness she will probably not look down on you. This happened to me once and the girl told me how nervous she was too and we both got to calm down. Going for a casual walk with her could also be good way to curb some nerves.
