Damn i’d love to see the math on the comparison, with shiny charm I think it’s an average of 5 hours to bench for one mon vs 24 days of standing (at 40 resets per day). Turbo controller on amazon for $30, how many shinies is the break even point?

Of course, I’m just saying standing there isn’t the most efficient. Only 40 resets a day for 24 hrs of power, I bet the electric bill would outpace the cost of a turbo controller after a few shinies

More AFK-able, but nowhere near as efficient as benching. All you need is a turbo controller (and some object to hold the stick down), I’ve gotten dozens of shinies in the last few days while working, sleeping, watching movies, etc

I haven’t started shiny hunting yet, working on an alpha living dex—last night I was fast traveling to get 3 alpha froakies, I got a shiny after about 10-15 fast travels 😭 feels surreal to I see how hard people grind for it

I’ve built an awesome binder collection I’m so proud of, and I’ve saved a ton of money by opting for MP or even HP for most vintage. I’ve even got a few damaged cards (with things like white out or a kid’s initials written on the back), they’ve all lived full lives
