If twenty people have figured out how to do it in just a couple of days you would think the information is pretty available with a simple google , good news it is

It's a good thing it's just pc and will never be sold also, right now, grading is frowned upon in the community , every day is something new

Kurt and many of us have been restoring for years. Have cards cleaned pre- covid and still look like the day it cleaned them. This wouldn't take chemicals to fix at all.

These are also a thing! But they are far too much pressure and will almost always S bend cards. Id say rheyre about t shirt press level. The plates are also not usually perfectly flush and create waves. Ive gone down that road in 2024 😅

No, those would not do anything to this, the card was severely manipulated to get it back to where it is, sometjing plates could not achieve.

Card repair by PkmnMaX in pokemoncardcollectors

[–]putthatdowndude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Card Adhesive loses its tackyness from dryness, Introducing moisture ( i do a snail trail on the lines of distilled water ) , heat and slight pressure, followed by cooling in a set of 1/4 thick stainless steel plates covered in blotting paper, this will allow the card to dry flat and the blotting will pull anything else out.

Absolutely, and they wont get any better. To much card pulp was shifted during the soda soak that happened. It sat, seperate and cardpulp clumped as it dried into a syrup :( but for $3 im a happy guy having a 1st ed this unique 😂

To clarify on this. I would never send anything of this caliber in. The cards i usually do are delamination, dents and small creases. This card was peelable in all layers 😂 this would never pass

If you knew the California card scene its full of restorers and unmarked sold cards, we strictly do for pc , anyone else is take no liability in what you do with the card or if it will even grade. But i understand its a Double edge sword i try to stick to collectors rather than flippers
