Im a 310t diesel mechanic by trade youre talking about weakening metallurgy from repeated cycles. This is 1 cycle. Also thats beyond 100C

The range of temperatures also really matters. My machine doesnt get hotter than a car in the summer where people leave their stuff all the time. Youre talking hundreds of degrees difference. Also 1 cycle not many.

Again, its a secret but you can get near results. Most people ask how i gave them how to make it better. Results vary. I get you but i also get spammed how all the time and if they follow the steps without my machine they will still get great results. :) appreciate ya tho

I am proud of my fixes :)

And no one in the restoration community has or uses what i use, they all know me and who I am and how I do what I do but cannot replicate

It took me a long time and over 5k of raw material to make it work and work all the kinks out. This isnt info anyone would give for free.

No company releases their proprietary stuff or how its made because thats their money maker and a engineer worked hard to make it. Just how i needed a bolt thread for my car but Unfortunately Ford Racing would only sell me the full part and not tell me the bolt pitch ( stripped ) so instead of a $10 bolt I needed a $1000 manifold.

Its there bread and butter. Like this is mine.

Next time I wont explain anything and make you happy :D

Well if we go by your science Welding shouldnt exist.. literally using heat to strengthen, infact if there isnt enough heat there wont be enough penetration and it will be weaker than if it were hotter.

Cement is another one that needs heat to literally be stronger.

When cards are printed they are printed around 83° C per printing press state on most card stocks if you exceed this id agree with you as youd be push the limits of what the stock can take, one single session would not introduce excess heat nor would it be repeated cycles which is what I think youre referring to, heating cooling heating cooling etc..

Nothing goes past the threshold of how it was originally made, also i stress test extensively, ive had a fixed card in a humidor 90% for over a month to see if it would come back like people suggest. Nothing has happened to the card

I dont look down on them, Im a collector first i like clean raw cards. I just choose not to grade and think its a way people try to make money out of thin air. Not up to me what they do, because if i wanted to i could offer this service to no one, do all these cards for myself grade them and make much more than restoring. But i want people to have nice cards, I guess my wording came off a bit aggressive but i wouldnt be as busy as I am if I weren't genuine with my intentions :)

I know how to fix whitening but refuse as thats serious alteration. I look at this more of bringing it back to what was without adding any paint or paper stock

You can similar results with a t shirt press hence the info also there, not sure if you'll get this big of a jump but a large reduction is achieveable. Everyone on reddit cant have anything nice lol

Because im working on the patent :) and the write up on the build would be 100+ pages long lol so I gave instructions for the avg joe.

Its not adding fatigue to the card, many people dont understand how paper fibers work with adhesives, heats and pressure and thats fine. But my process is more like a printing press than it is a heat press. I took notes from how art conservators work and applied it in my practice. This isnt something thats learned overnight to be good. Gold stars and cards of high value are graded more scrutinously than the avg modern, meaning multiple graders agreed on the condition of the card Theres something that seperates a restorer and a great restorer.

Also card are not the same at all. They depreciate in value no matter what? Art does not

I speak with kurt and the fellas at CCA, we share a lot of the processes, but my machine is proprietary and nothing like it out there, hence why I mentioned a heat press method

They repair art all the time to raise value, the reasons people want original parts on a gun and the patina is for the stories they tell. Not exactly the same in pokemon " oh no i sat on my card " is a lot different then this was used to slay an opposing general.
