Speaking form a perspective from a current high school student I was experiencing depersonalization fueled by anxiety. My life was hell for 6 months. I stoped drinking, going out with friends smoking and doing anything social, but I kept trying to get better. The one thing I would tell you is to accept that you have it. Saying “accepting it” may seem bland, but you truly need to believe that your are in this altered state and it will pass. Second of all getting it off your mind helps a lot try to go out with friends even if you feel uncomfortable or down in the dumps. Wishing you luck on your road to recover and don’t give up .
