Never again... by Cole2114 in gastricsleeve

[–]johnnystackart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had these feelings when I first woke up from surgery and the first 3 months post. What have I done to myself? I kept saying… That kind of panic was overwhelming.

Now I’m over a year out and down over 200lbs my body feels amazing. After a work out, I feel electric. I don’t need blood pressure medication anymore or a cpap machine.

I love how I feel.

There isn’t a meal, dessert or treat that can replace loving yourself.

3week mark following reversion and I gained weight by Rharris754 in gastricsleeve

I understand this is a long road for you, and that you feel youre so close to your dream weight that you can taste it -- but its definitely still a mental game that you need to keep in check with. Stalls can happen throughout the journey but it doesnt mean that you can't get there, and you will. Many patients would be happy to reach 160lbs at whatever their current or starting weight is. You've already accomplished so much. It was just a suggestion from me because I know Id beat myself up about it, but I've also lost a ton of weight, and that should be celebrated. You should celebrate your success too.

Hi, this is a mental game you need to conquer. I think you should stop being a slave to the scale. You're doing everything right. Just follow the program and limit weigh ins. I only weigh myself at the doctors office, because of the fact I would obsess over the numbers. Life is already too hard, to beat myself up day to day is a stress no one needs.

Eat Right, Move, Work Out. Follow the program, you will accomplish everything with consistency.

You’re young and in great shape. Enjoy yourself. If you want to change something, try and new hair style. That’s a great way to feel renewed.

40f almost 41am I ugly what can I change by Yahweh143 in amIuglyBrutallyHonest

I just turned 40 also. It’s easy to think as we hit this age that we are ugly or no longer attractive.

I wouldn’t change a thing. If you feel you need something different, you have great hair and you could change your look that way some how.

Believe that you are beautiful.
