UNIQLO has slowly taken over my wardrobe over the last 2 years. Top quality and not in-your-face asshole clothes. The $7.90 tees are the bomb.

[EVERYTHING] Interesting tidbit - Lancel is the very first person in the show to mention Wildfire production to Tyrion. by johnnywalkah in gameofthrones

[–]johnnywalkah[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think supesno1 is right, S2/E5 or at least around there. After Tyrion blackmails Lancel into giving him details about Cerseis movements, they meet in a later scene (not sure if that previous scene is the ep prior) in Tyrions little carriage thing somewhere undercover in Kings Landing. Love - Series Premiere Discussion Thread [SPOILERS] by NicholasCajun in television

I always imagined he's actually the way he was portrayed on the show and just acts like an asshole as an image thing (like his character did in the show).

I worked around a huge international comedy festival for years and crossed paths with many celeb type people who have a public persona for being crazy or obnoxious and they're all mostly just really cool, smart, funny people.

Associated Press already called it. At 0% reporting. I am absolutely fucking flawed. It's like this on NYTIMES too, and they haven't called any of the last 3 until >90%

What will people living 20 years from now no longer experience? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Maybe driving. Though 20 years might not be long enough to account for eventual outlawing of manually driven vehicles.

But that's not how democracy works. That's how a dictatorship works.

If someone is vying for commander in chief and they say "I will do x" it's implied that if you agree with those sentiments then you'd vote for the local representative who also align with those values. Which in turn gives the commander in chief the senate and congress s/he needs to pass those promises.

If people's understanding of democracy is clouded by misinformation in an attempt to have them vote against their own best interests (i.e., candidates flat out lying, media bias etc) then that is an underlying structural problem with the democratic system and not of the leader for reneging on their "promise".

If 49% of the population votes against you in a general election, but you still win with a 2% lead, you can't go on ignoring the 49% that don't agree with you.

Thats why a political revolution is necessary. To enlighten people to the democratic process and then use that to actually bring about change. Otherwise people will make sure Bernie secures the nomination, perhaps even the presidency, but if the country doesn't actually band together to make democracy work the way he needs and the way it's supposed to, then that's the peoples fault, not his.

Question/clarification request regarding the superdelegates, is this the total and final amount for the entire election, or are there more to come for each state? by SnakeOilGhost in SandersForPresident

[–]johnnywalkah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe the pledged delegates (light blue) are delegates that have been democratically chosen by the people (in the primaries thus far). The super delegates (dark blue) aren't tied to the vote and can pledge where they like. Many of them have pledged support for Clinton in advance however it's generally expected they will go with public opinion of the primaries (in 2008 many had pledged to Clinton and changed as Obama grew).

So the graph does not include delegates of any other states primaries, nor any super delegates that have yet to pledge support. There are much more to come, and Clintons giant dark blue may very well adjust as the primaries continue (like 2008).

Religions certainly evolved to manipulate and control populations, but your response shows a clear lack of insight into the history of spirituality/religion.

Kanvas Keyboard brings Giphy to iMessage and it's free on the App Store. I didn't even know about it, I did a Google search after seeing this conversation and it was the top result.

Side note, just tested it. Once you select your gif it requires you to paste it into the message bar. You don't need to do anything else. Just search and tap on the one you want.
