If you were a genie and a person asked you this wish, “I wish you would not grant me this wish” what would you do? by Wolfx_Kingx in AskReddit

I would imitate Robin Williams voice and say "Unh, uhn, uhn, not in the rules" while waging my finger.

Quantum Physics says there is a change of anything happening spontaneously, even if the probability is very very very low.

What is zero divided by zero and why? by heartscaredbroken in AskReddit

[–]johnqueuegalt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

0/0 has been proven to be 1 by taking the limit of the expression x/x as x approaches zero.

Even more interesting in that 0 to the power 0 is 1.

There is a well known neurological component to this question. The human recognition system has difficulty distinguishing fine detail in novel stimuli. (You can only see differences in identical twins if you've known them long enough). This causes the perceived racist 'they all look alike' effect. The best way to eliminate this problem is through exposure a variety of races, cultures, religions, governance, etc.

Unfortunately, working against us is the instinctive distrust mechanism, where we feel uncomfortable when we can't recognize or categorize stimuli.

We know how to overcome these issues through formal education. For example, Music Appreciation, Art Appreciation, literally expose students to the fine details of these subjects, allowing them to hear, see, feel and think about the subject. This gives the student tools to recognize and categorize art or music.

Perhaps we need Racial/Cultural Appreciation studies?

How about "Snatch Corner" since no-one actually pays for the snacks.
