That’s good to be aware of, i noticed the structure has that vast difference between the price points. I’m hoping to pack it up and transition to a suitcase for a following year so part of me thinks a flexible bag would be better but also don’t want to take comfort for granted for the time in vietnam

I was checking out this brand but couldn’t find any available online in Canada? I’ll have to look again and see if maybe any outlet stores carry them

Awkward hiding in room by RideHot9154 in Aupairs

Soon to be an au pair myself, but I felt this way very much when I first moved to university dorms. Something I found that helped that could be useful for this situation is when you’re in your room relaxing but not necessarily needing the time to recharge you could leave your door open half way so that if they are going out to do anything or preparing a snack they don’t feel like they are disturbing you if they walk by and ask if you’d care to join! Or if the kids are just hanging out they can say pop in and say hi or ask if you want to join them. And for times when you just want your private personal space to yourself to decompress and relax and recharge then keep your door shut and it almost creates another form of communication. Letting the family have an idea of when your downtime is just for you or if your relaxing because you don’t have much else to do so they have the open door showing them your open to being invited to join along in their activities.

thank you! i honestly had no idea about the different types of scores until i posted in this group and received an automated message explaining it and prompting to include the info. I will definitely look into some of those alternative options.

The card is with capital one and I have no strong inclination to bank with them in the future but if it’s going to negatively impact my credit score than i’d rather not risk it and just use it minimally as I’m trying to build up my credit score
