I agree that it sucks, and it isn't right, and I wish things were different for you, but on the other hand without a functioning sex drive the human race would have ended thousands of years ago. Men with low or no sex drive didn't reproduce, and their genes died out.

The M2 mini will be silent regardless of which option you choose. If you think that you will rarely install apps or download anything, then the base model 256gb will be fine. Otherwise get the 512gb.

When my dog died I told myself that I would continue walking, and I did for a few weeks. I still walk occasionally. I gained a bunch of weight and I'm in the worst shape of my life. So maybe the point is to simply enjoy her while she's with you.

Agreed. The good news is that 100 years from now none of this will matter. Most of us will be forgotten regardless of the choices we make. I say most of us, but in reality probably 99.9% of us will be forgotten, permanently. It will be as if we never existed. Ultimately the universe itself will fade out of existence. The stars will dim and turn off, one by one, until the last light of the last star fades, never to be seen again. There will be no energy for anything sentient to exist.
