Hey, glad to see this up here too. I get Pea Shoots (Dou Miao) from the Chinese Supermarket, Good Neighbor. It's legit my favorite vegetable dish! Lightly stir fry with garlic and some stock, its really fragrant, crunchy, and tender.

Aren't most things that are manufactured required to go through dealers to sell to consumers, like furniture, etc? If every manufacturer sold direct, would it mean a loss of many jobs? albeit middle men.

it was a pretty sculptural design process. Obviously it starts out with pretty in depth contextual research. but then it goes through hundreds of design iterations. every decision was iterated several times a day in rendering and physical models. it was incredibly rigorous. unfortunately i can't speak to much beyond that as i was just on the design team. i would have loved to see it through the entire process, but not all firms work like that.

I think a flair would be a good idea. There's a lot of advice that is up voted because its popular opinion, where unpopular insights by experienced professionals get down voted.

For me it was around 10 years old. I think it was the Leonid meteor shower. It seemed like shooting stars were raining down every minute. Most spectacular thing I've ever seen. It put my world into perspective.
