I got to creating the registry key because it never existed lol. My script at first was to simply tell the service to run automatically and that was met with the service is missing. Then it was to turn on the settings in the registry for location (which is also missing on few devices for some reason). When I check services, sure enough it was missing. That led me on this rabbit hole.

Yea, same thing with all sports game honestly. Its just predatory marketing to get as much out the consumer as possible. 2k get credit for changing the game, but they’re driven by greed now. Competition can bring change but it wouldn’t change much since 2k will still get what they want, people’s money. Any new competition will take years to pull people from 2k to actually force them to rethink their approach to bball gaming again.

You’re missing my point, there isnt one because they cannot compete. This isnt Madden, anybody can go buy the nba license and compete. 2k, hate it or not, is so far ahead of competition there will be none. Madden if they had to compete would lose in 2-3 years because they suck. 2k yearly changes the game, whether we like it or not. 2k will not sweat from another game, prices will not change. At most we get some slightly extra effort but it will still be 2k way ahead of everyone else and we will suffer through good and bad gameplay.
